The oldest gay bar in leicester. They do regular cabaret shows most Fridays and Saturdays. Would be nice to see the inside of the venue taken care of a bit more, but all in all a decent spot for a night out.

One of the few gay bars in Leicester. Went in with friends for Bingo on Sunday night. Very cozy and entertaining. I love Fanny. She is hilarious. A pint and a 3 piece bingo card for a fiver. It's my new guilty pleasure.

One of my favourite places to go. I always feel so comfortable there and the staff (including security) are amazing. Drinks are fairly expensive at times but definitely worth the atmosphere.

This was the second stop on our night out after a visit to Rainbow & Dove (owned by the same people) and I wasn't disappointed - we walked from one cabaret night into the second, this one with Manchester drag queen Aunty Ginger. Perfectly naughty (filthy at times - loved it!) and very entertaining. Venue was good, too. Generally felt like a younger crowd than Rainbow & Dove, but saw lots of the same people in both venues (and in Helsinki club afterwards).

Friendly staff, good range of drinks, good acts, toilets are in desperate need of an overhaul - mould on ceiling and buckets underneath. Lovely outside area, friendly bunch of customers. Good job we have Google maps these days as here,it's sister venue and the nightclub are spread out. All in all we had a good time and will be back

Absolutely amazing. I love this place. The environment is welcoming and friendly. Staff are polite and cheerful. The entertainment is top class, from DJs to live performances. You will always leave with a smile on your face and a want to return.

Fantastic gay bar/pub! The kind you don't see many of these days as many are closing down. Unashamedly shows off the pride flag inside and outside and has free gay community magazines to read inside as well. Relatively inexpensive alcoholic drinks available as well as food (but we didn't have time to eat here when we visited Leicester so couldn't comment either positively or negatively on what the food is like unfortunately). There's also entertainment in the form of a pool table, televisions and staged performances. When we went there, there was a session of drag queen bingo in full swing with a hilariously filthy-mouthed drag queen bingo caller. I wish I could remember her name she was brilliant. Seemed very popular with locals and had a very relaxing atmosphere. Wish I had a gay bar/pub like the Dover Castle local to where I live so if you are local to Leicester give it all the support you can and it deserves. Not sure what the night life is like here as we visited during the day but imagine it's just as good if not better.
