I have taken a look at my review and to my surprise and amazement I received a response. My review was not balanced and hinged around my disappointment about not being able to take part I spoke with the owner and the choice of floor used is with the sponsor of events and not so much the owner and it is they that should also take responsibility too Most of the clubs in leamington suffer from underinvestment and need support from local and national government to attract this investment (business rates etc.). The clubs are dirty and dingy yes but without local support they will get worse and in the end they will be lost I will say that the behaviour and drunkenness that is seen in these venues is not helpful but that is how money is made - without selling alcohol there will be no DJs, no DJs no music, and no music no club My updated review is based on my chat with the owner and the fact that he had considered what I said To be honest I used to play as DJ here and I’m (not the best but ok) sorry to say that I have struggled to give it one star I am in a wheelchair and the had an event on - and guess what it’s upstairs and right now I’m sat on the ground floor on my own No lift, which I guess I understand but to not put music on downstairs is very poor. I love my music and to be honest it’s very poor
Have been here a few times and the venue is good, cool updated lights, fairly cheap drinks, very polite and helpful staff . Music is generally good and even security is always smiling and super polite.
Visited for a friend's birthday last night. Paid £120 for a VIP table, no service, club was empty. Very grimey looking and unclean. Great advertising on the website as the club itself is nothing like advertised. Would not recommend
The manager of this club should be reviewed for his position. Does not answer phone calls regarding to business and holds no accountability for not replying to messages, emails and phone calls.Makes business deals such as providing staff for the venue through an outsource company company and does not confirm by answering the phone on the day of booking.Staff have paid for travel and hotels out of there own money and to have this treatment is highly unprofessional. If the manager had changed his mind on the booking then simply message to confirm cancellation.People are travelling to work and do not deserve to be messed around.
First time visiting last night for Halloween with my partner & definitely not what I was expecting. We'd left somewhere else to come here and the entry fee was double what I paid at the previous venue ( £6 each ) whilst I dont mind the dark dingdy run down side of this place it was expensive, floors were covered in spilt drinks and not cleaned up ( saw several people slip ) music wasn't to my taste but again that's fine, but very very loud and far to much jazz smoke ( I think its called ) being pumped out, it was so thick you couldn't see anything. Staff and door staff were Friendly & I would visit again but definitely needs improvement with cleaning
Sticky floors, expensive entry. Toilets disgusting with hand dryers that don’t work. Music upstairs INCREDIBLY loud - like painfully loud.
To whoever is contemplating attending this venue, please take this review and first hand experience of this club into consideration. I attended this club with my female friend who was physically assaulted aggressively by a man in retaliation to her requests for the man to leave her and her friend alone after constant physical boundaries being broken. This man with full force pushed and clenched my friend’s hand backwards. This event led to my friend reporting them to the club. In accordance to this report, a security guard was guided in identifying the man who physically assaulted a woman, the result of this being a security guard letting him off and brushing it off as a minor occurrence. In reaction to this, I vocalised my discontent with this outcome, stating that this man assaulted a woman and shouldn’t be aloud to in this club, creating an unsafe environment for woman. In reaction to this vocalisation, I was grabbed by the neck and told I shouldn’t make demands. Following this, I was dragged out the club by two security guards, before the man who assaulted a woman. As I was dragged out, the security guard that was informed of our experience that made us all feel unsafe within altoria continued to affirm to the assaulter to ignore us and that his attitude was above ours, despite his clear aggressive behaviour and action towards women. The security guard fixated anger and action towards me, for vocalising how immoral it was to let this man remain in the club. I hope this sheds light on the environment you are engaging in when entering this club.
Shocking condition for a night out. Toilets were poor, hand dryers not working, empty soap bottles, toilet roll to dry your hands on. The photo of the downstairs bar is not how it looked last night, 27 Jul 2019 and putting food images on the site, why? All throughout the whole place needs a considerable update and very deep clean. There is no food anymore that I saw and if there were I wouldn't eat it, just shabby floors for bar and dancing. The roof garden looked like it has last been treated to any level of TLC about 10 years ago, a damp mess. The bar staff were acceptable at best under staffed and painfully slow. The plastic glasses were old and it looked like the only time they got cleaned was when alcohol went in them. I over heard some guys who appeared to be the owners discussing someone else who they discussed disparagingly and said should be dismissed!! When the lights went down they filled the place with smoke to the point it was like a fire training exercise. Clearly it's a hit and run money making scheme. Wipe your feet on the way out is my advise!
