   Fantastic venue for live music, with two bars and a terrace (however I was there in November!). View of stage and accoustics very good. The only problem, as others have mentioned, was the slow service - or lack of it, at the bars. Well worth another visit though

   Went to watch the 80s night with Martin Kemp. I loved rhe 80s, but this was not for me. The drinks werent too bad, but rhe place was over crammed, security nowhere to be found when to grown men child were having a slanging match at the bar. The dance floor was the equivalent of a sardine tin, and that isnt including the people needing space to get througb wirh wheelchairs. The sound system on occasion kept remixing or wooshing sounds due to rhe inability of Martin Kemp to turn off his microphone It should have been advertised rhat instead of listening to the likes of duran duran and other acts, we would ve subjected to Martin Kemp singjng over everything badly. That being said if your thing is watching a 64 year old gyrating on stage and throwing t shirts out with his own picture on them rhen youd have loved it.... The trek to the trek to the toilet woukd have been rhoroughly enjoyed by scott of the antarctic... it was a mission! And the soaking wet floor just what you want when you have a long dresss. When the gig ended at 10.30 the balcony bar doesnt have enough capacity to wareant staying as the space became seriously lacking. Would i go to the HMV empire again... No..

   Great little venue! Went to see the Lottery Winners, and the gig was great from start to finish. Bar staff were polite and helpful.

   Attended for Emofest the last 2 years in a run. Atmosphere is brilliant and it made for such a brilliant night! Bar available right next to the main stage area. Really good night. Easy to get to with it being right in the town centre

   Decent venue but they made us dispose of our water bottles on entry. This is unacceptable, our water bottles were sealed. Who created this rule? You can do better!

   I really like the balcony bar area, good staff, good security and decent sound from the venue too. Just be careful using the escalator going into and out of the venue; it's disused but sharp edges for anybody with wobbly legs after a drink or two I'd imagine.

   Had a fantastic nite at the Empire, it was the first time I've been there. Really great venue, really great staff and also we had to provide a covid passport to get in which made us feel way more relaxed so we could get on with enjoying our evening. 5⭐

   First time at a gig in Coventry and the Empire was an excellent venue. The bar prices were reasonable and queues were not too long. It was a decent size for the event and seemed smart, having apparently only opened recently. I’ll be back next year to see The Enemy in their home town.
