I have been calling all day as I have an urgent enquiry re my prescription. I continuously get a recorded message saying, 'I'm sorry, the pharmacy is busy at present. Please call back later.' The pharmacy has changed hands recently. Service has been slow recently but this is really hopeless! I hope things are going to improve and I will be able to improve this rating!!

I swapped pharmacies as live nearby , I will be switching back. Can’t find prescription even though you’ve been sent a text. Endless waiting for the prescription to be sorted. Other customers complaining they’ve been given someone else’s medication in their prescription. It really is appalling

Automatic reply: 13.9.2024 2nd request for Response. Re: Automatic reply: Automatic reply: 24.8.2024. URGENT RESPONSE REQUESTED. Complaint ref: Failure to delivery repeat medications again. To whom it may concern. I have not yet had a response to my email from 24.8.2024. Please advise who is responsible for a response. I went to the Chase Meadow Branch Tuesday 27.8.2024 at which time the Manager Muhammad was on annual leave. I spoke to the Deputy Manager (he did not give his name) who looked on the system & said my repeats were not out for delivery, I asked him to check the prescription boxes; he did so & found my prescription (clearly stamped DELIVERY) in a file basket with other prescriptions. Mine was the only one excluded from the delivery. I requested it be done asap as I had gone 3 days without statins & blood pressure tablets. He began to process my repeats but stop when he got a text message & was reading that & asked the other pharmacist to complete the order. I had also sent the email to customer care on the 24.8.2024 & he was obviously reading it. I requested a meeting be arranged for myself, him & Muhammad upon his return from annual leave to discuss the failure to deliver, the inability & problems to get through to the branch via the landline & why an entire delivery is held back if they are waiting for one item. He stated “ No we won’t be doing that; as you have already complained to head office so let them deal with you “ He also advised because it’s a free delivery service we won’t deliver until we have the complete list of medications. I said this should not be the case as repeats are ordered because they are needed. I also pointed out your Website does not state ‘ to cut down on the number of free delivery’s we make; patients will not receive any of the listed items until Day Lewis has a complete order. Day Lewis has joined the NHS delivery Service & should state clearly the free delivery service policy. I will also point out whenever I walk into the chemist I am often waiting for several minutes before the staff (especially the Deputy Manager & a female Pharmacist ) even acknowledge my arrival ! If you read your reviews about this branch a lot of adverse reviews are about the attitude of several members of staff. My point is regardless of any individuals opinion of me at the branch all of them should remain professional, polite & helpful. I was employed as a ‘ Secret Shopper’ many years ago & the first observation I reported & scores on was the initial greeting I received in each shop. Day Lewis at Chase Meadow would fail & score zero on that. I again request a meeting with the Branch Manager & Deputy Manager to discuss this situation in an effort to iron out grievances on both sides. Regards Pat Abrams

Unfortunately, very upset with the service at the pharmacy. My mother came in to get some medicine after seeing the doctor and since she doesn’t speak English well, she couldn’t understand what was going on as she was left waiting for more than 15 minutes without any explanation. Then, when she returned home, she discovered that the pharmacist had not put one of the medications that had been prescribed and paid for. When she returned to ask for this medicine, the pharmacist did not even apologize, but simply threw the bag of medicine on the counter. It would be nice if staff were more understanding and polite

Great Pharmacy, right on my doorstep and next to the Drs. Only grip is the lunchtime closing, (i would make this 4.5 star review, but it doesnt do 1/2 stars) - its a local Pharmacy, most local Pharmacies do the same. They have decent stock off over the counter and prescription medications. Very happy with their service, the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I have never seen a more awful pharmacy. I go to the Chase Meadow doctor and I thought it would be convenient. IT IS NOT !!! I complained a few times and have since asked the surgery to move me Boots. Now that’s a magnificent pharmacy. They even text you 3 days before your prescription ends to let you know you can come and collect your prescription. I would recommend everyone to move to BOOTS in Warwick town.

My experience of this pharmacy is that there Is a total lack of any sort of management. The website never shows accurate opening/closing times - Scribbled A4 notes on the door aren’t really suitable for those that travel and open/close times are just random - who closes over a lunch hour? They also seem to be closed on a Saturday morning which is a huge inconvenience for many.in todays world. They just seem totally disconnected with the customer needs and experience. Day Lewis leadership need to spend some time here and try to help those trying to run it.

Absolutely useless pharmacy, closed during lunch time when most people are available, and never open on time. This morning I went to enter at 10.05 (opening hours on the door say it opens at 9), and it was locked, see a male member of staff inside and I ask him why they're not open, he shouts back at me "LOOK AT THE SIGN" which says your opening hours are from 9? Then he says "we open at 10.30!" Oh... So they shut at 12.30 for lunch, which means they only open for 2 hours in the morning? Honestly at this point they might as well not even open at all. Staff also don't wear masks.

So, I'm the only person in the pharmacy waiting to collect a prescription and there are three members of staff in the dispensary who decide to just totally ignore me for a few minutes and carry on chatting amongst themselves. After some pointed staring and toe tapping I'm eventually attended to with not a great attitude and, here's a hint Day Lewis, if you're going to insist (quite rightly) that customers must wear a face mask then why not ask your staff to do so as well? As others have mentioned, they shut at lunchtime (it's 2021 guy's...) and also at other random times, often not opening until 09:30 which is annoying. Avoid - there are plenty of other pharmacies who understand customer service.
