Yesterday, I visited Rugby Heaven in Cwmbran to replace my son’s boot. We spoke with Andrew, who took the time to show us the different options. He was very knowledgeable and I’m not sure what his role is within the shop, but he is a credit. I think this will become our go-to Rugby shop.
Went to try on a few styles to see what felt right for me. I was ambushed by who I assume was the manager. He was extremely patronising referring to the trainers I was looking at as "pretty ones" and was hard selling me a gait test to assess the type of trainers I needed. I tried to explain I just wanted a pair that felt comfortable and supportive but he continued to "mansplain" to me why I would be wrong to buy a pair without getting my gait checked 1st at a cost of £30. It was only as I was leaving he offered for me to try on some trainers, but by then I was too overwhelmed to even consider it. Maybe cool your jets next time and let a lady try on some different styles before insisting she has her gait checked!
Great selection of products at this shop but the manager Andrew let’s the shop down massively! His arrogant and patronising attitude towards myself when clearly our goods were faulty is just not acceptable , he is completely unaware that he is restricting consumers rights and will possibly end up getting this business in trouble by doing so!

Large range of items, store is joint with Moti, however Rugby Heaven is 70% of the building.
Very over priced .Bought the same boots from sports direct for £25 less. Plus the one guy who thinks he plays for Wales needs to stop the #ull#hit .

Awful, awful customer service. OK if you're spending lots of money but if there is a problem, forget it. Very arrogant man. You try to buy on the high street, but why would you when you have service like this. Unless it is such a bargain that you couldn't leave behind, don't bother. No wonder the high street is struggling if you get this kind of service.
