    My personal experience has been dreadful: repeated requests for paperwork already sent; wrong paperwork sent; repeated requests for bank details; lying about when signed for documents arrived (I have the proof from royal mail). I lodged a complaint but of course they found no faults in their actions.

    Well not sure where to start. In Dec 2023 we made our first claim ever with Sainsbury's having Integra as their underwriters. We were burgled and the animals took most of all our sentimental items of gold and other things as well as destroying our home. Integra requested information after information until telling us the claim was too big and they were handing it over to a company called SBS. SBS after many months did the same thing and handed it over to another company called Williams Pitt. 2 years on and information upon information requesting the same documents and proof... we are no closer to getting it sorted. We managed to locate some receipts for some of the items and they want proof from who they came from even though the items were given as gifts and they were aware of this since day one verbally and in numerous photos provided. Honeslty it really is beconing farcical now and not sure how they operate. I think it may be worth contacting Sainsbury's as I am sure they wouldn't want their name tarnished. Oh also Sainsbury's refused to renew our policy and more than likely it was thanks to Integra. Given what I am reading, it seems its a common trend that they will do everything in their power to not pay out. I suppose its been 2 years and I am happy to see it through legally as im clearly not getting anywhere.

    Phone call was answered promptly and told us exactly what we would expect next and what we had to do . A link that was easy enough to follow was sent to us via email and it was a place where quotes could be uploaded and details of the claim. Once this was done we received a reply within a couple of days and the money was in our account within 5 days. An excellent service in difficult circumstances which made getting our bathroom sorted out the only issue we had to deal with..... cannot thank you enough ....fully recommend 10/10

    A very unpleasant episode (water leak that bought the ceiling down), was managed so professionally by Integra. They came to assess the damage within 2 days, they explained the entire process to its end. They stayed in touch through email and I felt confident that they took everything in to account. The whole process was handled and resolved within two week. Very impressive service and their reassurance ment a great deal to us. Superb.

    If I could give this company a minus I would, they rejected my claim for water damage for my bathroom due to a cracked shower tray as they said the mastic gave way, even though an independent plumber said the mastic was perfect and it was not wet in that area. They actually guessed it was that as there was no proof, now I have an expensive 6k plus bill for something insurance should cover, you cannot turn down a claim due to a surveyor speculating but they have, ombudsman and my solicitor will be in touch. If you choose this company you are making a horrendous judgement as I did. The sooner this blight on the industry goes out of business the better . Do not touch with a bargepole

    Stay away from this company. HI, I took out insurance via you, therefore this complaint is with you in mind. I have never used my insurance in the past, first time and what an absolute joke! I had a call from my wife around 1600 hrs Friday 3rd Feb, I got home to my boiler leaking, water running through the ceiling and down the walls, I called Grove and Dean, they passed me onto Integra, they passed me onto NPA. NPA informed me that they would get a plumber to me (check telephone conversation). This did not happen, I rang several times, in the end asking the lady on the phone who she worked for, she was unsure at first (unbelievable) then informed me. Rang again today, still no sign of a plumber. WOrst service you could possibly have with a young child in the house, no hot water all weekend and still today.

    I have tried on countless occasions to get an update on my claim. I have had no response to my emails and no one picks up the phones. When you request a call back this is not done. This is completely unacceptable and I will now go to the financial ombudsman to make a formal complaint. One star is very generous.

    Absolute horrendous company, I have an issue where water is leaking through my main roof when it rains was told by three different building companies it was due to storm damage. Integra sent out a serveyor which I think he needs to go back and learn his job, he didn't go up on the roof externall or internal..didn't send a drone up just looked at it from out the back but told me yes it's storm damage then integra have rejected the claim stating he said it wasnt storm damage at all. I have small children in the house and the leak is getting worse I have no money to cover the repair cost and when I explained this to them they just said that isn't our problem your claim is rejected. It took nearly seven weeks for them to send the serveryor, said I would get a copy of the report which I still haven't got. I wouldn't recommend this company. Absolute pointless being insured with these.

    Wouldn’t insure with a company that used these assessors from Integra. I was with Sainsburys insurance but didn’t check the small print. The assessor used every excuse under the sun so that the insurance company didn’t have to pay out. He didn’t listen to what I had to say about when the problem with the roof started, he was determined right from the start that Integra were not going to pay out . It was his word against mine and he wasn’t interested in my word. When I insure my house again I will make sure that Integra are nowhere to be seen on my policy. Don’t listen to the hype that they put forward, they do not want to pay out a penny, they are not protecting you or your house. Many of the big insurance companies use Integra so be careful when selecting an insurance cover.

    Utterly Pointless being insured with this company!!! I contacted them regarding a claim for damage to the outside of my property caused by trees not on my land and not owned by me. Having provided photographs and a detailed summary of the issue I waited for their response. Like others reporting the inadequacies of this company we heard nothing for weeks. I then called them to find out what was happening and during the phone call they assessed the details of the claim, looked at the photos and said we weren’t covered. Why it took weeks for this to happen and only happened after I called them is very poor customer service. They said that the issue should have been dealt with immediately and “in the policy documents” it clearly states I’m not covered. Policy wording is written so cleverly that no matter whether you read it or not you have no idea what it actually means and whether you’re covered or not. As the trees were growing not on land owned by me and a high wall disguised the initial grow how was I supposed to act “immediately”. They are clearly a company who likes to take your money, but has absolutely no interest in ever paying out. I have full accidental protection both inside and out and clearly it’s a complete waste of money!! I shall be contacting my broker and telling them that the company is beyond useless and that no one should be wasting their hard earned money with them. Like many customers I’m sure that the company will be recommended via a broker so do your homework before accepting the cover or lack of cover as I’m sure many will find.
