Great range of gym equipment and classes but has its problems. Gym etiquette isn't the best, equipment is left around on the floor and people rarely wipe machines down. Air conditioning in studios 3 & 4 either keeps breaking or just isn't adjusted for classes (way too hot for body pump, too cold for yoga & pilates). Showers are a bit grim, really bad smell and drain flies. Steam room is slimy and people don't wear flip flops or anything, just barefoot. Overall good facilities and staff are lovely, but it's a bit gross.

I used a 7-day pass but only visited once because the experience was poor. The first receptionist we encountered was a little rude to us and didn’t explain how anything worked. We were told to collect a pass on the way out, but then couldn’t even access the gym because we didn’t have one. After ringing the bell to access the gym, the staff member upstairs acted like he didn’t know the 7-day pass existed. The gym itself looked good with plenty of equipment, just very busy. When leaving, we were told the pass still wasn’t ready and to come back the next day. We also had to ask separately about parking, where another staff member clarified that 7-day pass users don’t get a card at all and still have to pay for parking. Considering the weekly pass is £50, charging an extra £3.50 each visit feels very unfair. Overall, I do not think this experience is worth the price being charged.

Went there for a cheerleading competition and it was really great with a big hall and lots and lots and lots of seats !!

I recently visited the Warwick University Sports & Wellness Hub for a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition, and I was really impressed with the venue. The facilities are modern, spacious, and very well-maintained, making it a great environment for both athletes and spectators. Parking and access were straightforward, staff were friendly and helpful, and the layout of the sports hall made the event run smoothly. As someone who regularly attends BJJ competitions, I can honestly say this is one of the best university sports venues I’ve been to. Highly recommended for any martial arts or sporting events! Although it does get very hot in the summer

EDIT: Easily the worst gym ettiequte from members I’ve seen. Staff don’t care. Majority of machines will have piles of weights on them. Common for squat racks to be left with weights on. Ultimately world class facilities let down by a number of factors. - Poor basic gym ettiequte from members (leaving weights on machines) - Appear to be external (non Warwick uni) fitness groups taking up large areas of the gym for hours at a time with little consideration for others. Staff not bothered. - Completely unable to book tennis courts etc. As you are unable to buy a ‘gym only’ membership it’s then annoying to not be able to use most of the other sport facilities. - Slow to repair broken facilities. Steam room broken for months. Facilities in men’s changing rooms broken for months and shower drains unclean. Gym itself is excellent with a large number of squat racks.

AVOID!!!! The gym is in a state of disrepair, with broken equipment and missing parts on several machines, including the pneumatic cable machines and pec machine which have been out of order for months. The gym is constantly overcrowded, making it difficult to work out safely, and I even sustained an injury when a weight fell on my foot due to the lack of space. Additionally, the locker rooms are consistently dirty, with showers and urinals that are always dirty, and many lockers are broken. The cleaner is rude and unhelpful, and even kicked me out of the locker room when I sat down just for a minute to message my friend, claiming to be cleaning despite the fact that there were plenty of other people present causing him no issue. Overall, the gym is not being properly maintained, and the administration needs to take action to address these issues. P.S. The images depict only a few of the issues that I ve mentioned above. I would have gone out of phone storage if I had captured everything.

We mostly go climbing here from time time. Would like to see the ropes routes changed more often on the autobelays but overall pretty fun!

A fairly affordable sports centre for Warwick students. Gym is large with lots of power cages and ‘smart’ machines but equipment is all techno gym and some machines are straight up useless. Also a ridiculous amount of unused running machines which take up valuable floor space. Swimming pool is never that busy and sauna and steam room is relaxing but the latter is often out of order. Rock climbing and courts are available for booking in the inclusive membership. Buying a year pass is much more affordable than getting it monthly

Update: We have been multiple times now and are enjoying an incredibly fun and thorough workout aswell as bonding and stress releasing. I have found the car parks to be frustrating and difficult to get my head around but i learnt that you can pay at the desk when you're done which is really helpful. There are also lockers there for your valuables. There can be quite long and slow moving ques at the main reception so i will be and would advise booking in advance to climb. The climbing staff all seem to be helpful, friendly and approachable but best of all they are hot on safety. It's brilliant to see a whole team who are so responsive, it makes be much more confident to take my child. The walls are fantastic, they change them often enough and it adds to the fun when there are new challenges. I have also found the bouldering wall a lot of fun too which i hadn't been very interested in before. I've found it a nice way to wind down after the climbing walls. I have had some issues with my registration and subsequent issues booking in but i think that is sorted now and I've been with other people who have never had this problem. Went for climbing, had a great time. All the staff were really helpful. We needed to register for the first time online and booked in there at the main reception. Down at the climbing wall reception you are greeted and loaned shoes and a harness included in the price which is £6.50 per session which is well worth it. We had an induction and regular check ins. The climbing staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The walls are amazing fun, of all different difficulties and at least 8 auto belays that i can remember. I will definitely be going back to enjoy and hopefully improve on my climbing. There is also a large bouldering wall but i didn't get round to having a go but the floor was very good quality, everything was to be fair and clean. An impressive place with lots more to offer. I look forward to returning.
