Horrible school teachers don’t care about anything you have to say and punish you for the most random reason for example someone got a c1 for farting and someones knee was bleeding and they said “grow up its not bad”

Kind, considerate, patient, and caring teachers and year heads. I can’t understand why other parents complain — the teachers at this school go above and beyond to help the children in every way. Out of the many secondary schools in Leicester, the teachers here seem to be genuinely very good at their job.

Absolutely awful school. No control over bullies, the teachers are useless. Not the place for a child with even mild special needs because instead of help they get punished. If you really hate your kids then this is the school for them.

Terrible school doesn't stop bullying mainly cares about school uniform and attendance. I do not recommend this school doesn't help with mental health if U have an issue all they do is send it to safeguarding and don't speak to you about it . You are supposed to have 5 minutes in between lessons to go toilet but they don't allow that anymore you have to go between lunch and break time and if you want to go toilet between lesson teachers have to email but the staff are slow to get to you . Staff don't listen until you are sat crying or you get really bad and start hurting yourself honestly the worst school. Some teachers are nice but some are weird and horrible so please do not send your kid to this school they do not care about anything!!!

I can’t deal with this place much longer thankfully I’m out of this pit. Had regular crash outs, mostly as a result of pressure for good grades. Bullying? Yes. They don’t do anything about it and brush it under the rug even though they claim to care much about it alike to mental issues but as soon as it actually occurs or isn’t the romanticised replica of the issue then they magically are incapable of dealing with the issue. And no, we shouldn’t normalise this just because other schools do this. As much as I care for grades, I feel they care too much for grades. There was an expectation of a 75%+ math homework completion, which feels extremely exclusionary of people with learning disabilities. If you think this is from a person in lower tier maths, you’d assume wrong. I was in the higher tiers for maths all through the year but regularly had breakdowns because they happened to give out material I couldn’t comprehend for the life of me. Think it’s a skill issue? Well you’re apart of the problem. I was extremely lucky with the pools of teachers I had in my years but that doesn’t exclude the absolute atrocity I’ve heard about other teachers from friends and even other people not in my friend group. Teachers shout over minuscule matters and rules are valued much more over the wellbeing of students. Students are never allowed to go toilet in class, they use the same excuses such as “You just had [blank]” or “You have [blank] soon” and even if they do decide to let them go, they put it through a long system which further undervalues a student’s basic needs, I understands that within a professional environments may also support these ideals but again they shouldn’t be normalised. I know way too many students who have struggled due to the absolute abyss of hell this school is. If that doesn’t raise suspicions for you because you think they’re being dramatic, hormonal teenagers, we should also talk about the significance of some teachers raising concerns about the treatment of both employees AND students. I thought about giving 2 stars only because of my fortune of having good teachers but then I remembered that this is to stir people into the correct direction and I don’t want people to feel hope that this could potentially be an okay place to attend. I don’t recommend this place. But I give my best wishes to the teachers that I’ve been taught by excluding one specific teacher that scared me half to death several times. Try and look somewhere else this place is the living embodiment of burn out and normalising bad ideas while censoring it all. Propaganda, just to seem better than they actually are. I wish anyone who’s reading this a good day anyway. Here’s a vaguely (not) related egg for your troubles, because I must attach some form of media to everything I write

Moving schools because I've been bullied here almost everyday until year 9 so if you're a sensitive person like me then don't come and study here. Very rude students there

I’m a year 7 student and I absolutely love it. Although there is a few flaws and teachers I do not get along with, everyday I’m sure to come out feeling happy or proud. I have to admit that it does have its share of ‘problem’ students and incidents but they always get quickly resolved. Although people reckon there is bullying, I have not witnessed any. I have only witnessed the good chemistry between students and teachers and student to student, no matter the year group. If you are hesitant to send your child there, don’t be. It will be the best experience of their lives.
