   24th December The food was really good but the booking system went wrong and despite showing proof that the payment had been taken from my account they insisted that their system hadn’t processed the payment. I had no option but to pay again and the manageress insisted that they wouldn’t take the payment twice spoke to customer services on 29th and emailed my bank statement as requested but no reply still waiting for acknowledgment that my refund £29.17 would be paid Really not impressed a total shambles shame when the food was really nice

   My mum booked boxing day dinner for the family 14 people , the tables were all separate so people were sat with there backs to people, we moved the table ourselves as I found this extremely rude ! The food wasn't the best , since when as Hunters chicken been frozen breaded chicken , no cheese or bacon in site ! Cheesecake was pretty ordered but they had sold out !!! Other deserts were offered but they even got them wrong ! The food was disappointing full stop , I know its hard at busiest time of the year so would never critize the service , but feel like we were abit misslead on the christmas menu ! The bill was well over £200 so left feel rather disappointed for my mum .

   I don’t normally leave reviews but I had such an amazing experience with such a lovely and helpful server, Grace, I just had to give praise. I have never visited this pub before but ordered a delicious burger, which my server helped me order, as I have some dietary restrictions. I cannot believe the attentiveness of my server, she really helped narrow down the menu of what I was able to have. Overall great experience and phenomenal service, I would highly recommend anyone to stop by. And thanks again to Grace for being such an amazing help!!!!

   Stopped off on the way home from an event. We got the deal where it's two meals for a certain price. Food was nice. Plenty of tables, inside and out. We sat outside to enjoy the food in the sunshine. We ordered via the app, which was easy to navigate!

   Beautiful surroundings and decor. The food was amazing... and Sam, the manager, and her staff were fantastic Would definitely recommend for a meal or just a drink as the beer garden is very large

   Great value, decent menu. Normally we just drop in on a Saturday and have a choice of tables, this week it was very busy and but we did manage to get a table of 5 but will book in advance in future. Nice food, steak came cooked exactly as I ordered which is very rare for chain pub meals in my experience

   Ordered food eventually as only one member of staff behind bar. Staff very pleasant. Was charged for 4 pints which we didn't order but were refunded when asked why the bill was so high without any problem. Had a mixed grill which was ok but the steak was very tough and gristly and the peppercorn sauce was £3.50 for a tiny pot and was very watery. Rest of the order was fine. Would recommend the steak pie though as it looked like a portion for 2 lol . Nice family pub too with lovely surroundings

   Have been here several times before and had good experience but called by after work for early dinner today (7/4/22) great suprise to discover burgers were on a Thursday BOGOF deal. Food served presented well but chips were cold. As there wasn't a check back during the meal, when Kenny the Team Leader came to take away our plates, he asked how our meals were. I said lovely but sadly the chips were cold. Didn't really expect a response from him of "ah well" before he walked away! I'd speak to him about this if I was management and to also clear empty tables away quicker given that we sat next to a full one of things whilst pub was quiet and 2 bar staff on duty
