Turned up on a busy Saturday night without booking and James greeted us and went above and beyond to get us a table. We visit quite often and he is always very accommodating, polite and helpful. The food was brilliant and the desserts are amazing. Great experience as usual

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jason and James at Heathfield Farm in Birkinshaw truly made our visit exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the carvery, they were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly attentive. It’s rare to come across staff who clearly take such pride in their work, but Jason and James went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service was warm and genuine, nothing felt rushed, and they both took the time to make sure everyone was happy and well looked after. Their positive attitude and professionalism really stood out and added to what was already a great dining experience. It’s clear they care about customers and about maintaining the high standards Heathfield Farm is known for. Thanks to Jason and James, our visit was not just a meal but a genuinely enjoyable experience. They are a real credit to the team at Heathfield Farm Birkinshaw, and we’ll definitely be returning because of the outstanding service they provided.

I don't usually like giving full five star ratings, as it means there is no room for improvement. The problem is that I cant find anything I didn't like about this eatery. So we actually booked a table for 0900 breakfast although it was obvious we didn't need to. The Pub is well signposted, just off the roundabout and the car park is large and easy to park in. We went in and noticed it was nice and warm, with a lovely atmosphere. We were met by a front of house who was polite and helpful, pointing out where everything was and taking our payment, and on that point, they give Blue Light Discount which was brilliant. We went to the food counter, which is self serve and it was very varied and well presented, as you can see in the photo and video. We got our food and sat down. I noticed that there was a child's play area which looked great and had several play items in it which the children that turned up later seemed to really enjoy. The food was really good and I would give a special mention to the bacon which looked like it stared as quality meat, not the usual cheap stuff you can find in run of the mill, 'All you can eat' pub chains. it had been cooked on a griddle I think so had lots of flavour. Tea and coffee are self serve and the toast is on the same table. I suppose the only possible complaint, if I had to rack my brains to find one, was the toast took ages to do but that's the only thing. I loved it and it will most certainly be my go to breakfast meeting spot from now on.

I had a buffet breakfast with my dad which was really good, everything was warm and cooked perfectly. Poppy came to speak to us to ask how everything was, was very friendly and made the visit a little bit more special

Spacious carpark. Smells deliciously of carvery inside. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. Can use the Greene King app to order food and drinks to your table. Good choice of food on the menu.

Ordered on the app, drinks sat on the bar for 15 minutes or so - food came out before the drinks. Our friend who ordered his drinks at the bar was on his second drink by the time our first one came out. When ours did come they were wrong and sent back. When asked where the drinks were the bar team said 'theres only so much we can do'. 25/02/22 @ 13:00 - the whole bar team need training. Food came out okay, although nachos had a really awful taste and the fish was dry, drinks ordered at the bar was two different prices both times for the same drink - rekorderlig strawberry lime was £4.50 first time and £5.50 second time. The elderly waiter was gaumless and asked us for a review before checking we were okay, he handed the drinks with his fingers in the top of the glass which was gross and we were never offered the basics of sauces. Complete lack of organisations from start to fish. 4th time here and it's getting worse every time.

Absolutely beautiful the carvery was fresh and OMG the cherry sponge was giant size. We all had a good laugh at this smallest appetite biggest dessert.

We really enjoyed our tea at Heathfield Farm. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is a good choice of meals to suit all tastes. Some vegetarian options. The ice cream and cakes selection looked amazing but we were too full to order anything maybe next time. Kim was amazing when she looked after us.
