   I recently used JCP Solicitors for a residential purchase that wasn't what you would call standard or straightforward. The service that was provided was superb and it was professionally delivered by both Helen and Mari. I was kept well informed throughout the process and when I had queries they were responded to swiftly. Being able to visit the Caerphilly office and have Helen walk me through the vast amount of documentation left me feeling assured and confident that I was in good hands and that nothing had been overlooked. I was additionally impressed with the level of due dilligence that was undertaken during the purchase too. I look forward to working with Helen and Mari in the future and would highly recommend them.

   Choose another law firm, based upon my recent bad experience. Poor communication and don't represent your interests. I wasted £17,000 with this firm.

   Legal aspect of my interactions were fine, solicitors take ages because there's always another solicitor on the other end who is slow. Other aspects however.. They will request you to drive to their office in Caerphilly, because there are no client rooms in Cardiff (not as if these were salubrious though, I could have just signed a piece of paper in the foyer in Cardiff for the same level of comfort) not only is this out of the way, they will charge you for the privilege. Perhaps pen ink is expensive? I didn't get to keep the biro either. When you are finished and pay your final bill, you should expect to receive threats of interest for overdue payments they have added onto your account 5-6 months after the fact.

   Had to be involved with this very unprofessional company when acting on behalf of my late father's estate. They don't return calls and make you feel as if you are an annoyance. When you eventually get to speak to someone it's almost always from the customer service team. Apparently, so busy they have no time to deal with their clients.

   Would not use again, used in 2021 for sale and purchase of residential property. Communication was poor, only ever received information about what was going on if I chased. Would often be told they were waiting on a response from other parties solicitor which when checked with estate agent I would find this wasn't the case and the other parties solicitor had sent responses days/weeks prior. When I would tell JCP this they would then suddenly say they have now received the response. Rarely dealt with my actual solicitor who seemed to rarely work, would always deal with their colleague as it was the only way to get anything done. Paid more than what I could have done else where in the hopes that better quality service would be provided. Sadly, this was not the case.
