Everyone at the chepstow have been absolutely wonderful and caring especially Molly who has gone above and beyond supporting me professionally during my journey when my cat was diagnosed with serious health issue. Many thanks to Andrea who also helped the process in referring my cat to a specialist centre and now currently under the fantastic care of Vivek. All the staff at this branch are beautiful souls.

Very happy with the check up for my sensitive kitty cat today. New vet for me as previous one left but very happy, very knowledgeable, personable and my cat was comfortable with the check up. Thank you! Friendly front of house too. Highly recommend!

Changed to a different vet practice after a very negative experience with removing a lump. The wound was never stitched back properly, and no after care instructions were given post-operation, nor a cone was provided. Despite lots of back and forth, nothing was really done to apologise, despite the state of my dog's wound shortly after being operated (wide open, infected, inflamed - picture attached). We took him to a different vet for him to get a more positive experience, better care and post-operation follow up. Management sent several reports of what they said and when, as if we did not remember. Completely unhelpful. The staff at the practice are not bad people, but very inexperienced, without the right resources, and overwhelmed. Animals end up suffering because they are not looked after properly - this group only cares about the bottom line and has zero knowledge or passion for what they do and for animals in general!

Luckily, my dog has been pretty healthy so I've mainly used Medivet Chepstow Corner for pre-travel worming but they are always friendly, helpful, efficient and kind. Importantly, the prices they charged were more reasonable than some practices quoted me for this fairly simple procedure. I've had one emergency visit and they were wonderful on that too.

I visited last week for my dog's annual vaccination, having previously taken her to Peter Culpin at Pets Naturally. I wasn't aware of the change of ownership until we arrived. My dog was examined standing on the floor of the waiting room and the vet injected her there, rather than on an examination table in a separate room. My dog has never before reacted at all to an injection but in this case she yelped at the first one and reacted strongly to the second such that the syringe detached itself from the needle left in her back. The £85 charge felt rather high in the circumstances!

Excellent service, and it is so reassuring to know that if our cats or dog are ill, Peter and his colleagues know their medical histories and really care about them.

I called and explained I was told by Medivet Hyde Park that a third dose vaccine was needed for my kitten, and that because they had no availability I should try this Medivet. Medivet Notting Hill had access to my pet's records, and the dates of the previous vaccines. I missed a call from the clinic the day of the appointment, but when I returned it no one at reception knew what it was about and suggested we 'sort it when I get there'. The vet told me she doesn't need a third dose after all, and I got charged 72 pounds for a 5 minute check up. I would not have even gotten that check up if they had simply told me over the phone that a third dose is not needed. When I raised this with reception, and asked if maybe the phone call I received was to tell me not to come, the employee was quite rude, said 'he had no idea' what the call was about, and that 'it was not them' who advised me to get a third dose. It was them who failed to inform me I should not come in, even though they had my pet's records and could check if the third dose was needed, and it was them who didn't have the courtesy not to charge for that error.
