   I have owned cats for 42 years and have used catteries around the UK for many of those years. I have to say that this is one of the best I have come across and I am very pleased that it is close to where I now live. The owner and all staff are caring and loving with the cats, offering a first class service.

   Easily one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. My mum booked this cattery 6 months ago, excited to leave her two cats in their care while we went away for a few days. However, the moment we arrived, Katie, the woman at the reception desk, was condescending and unhelpful. It was my mum’s first time leaving her cats in a cattery and we would have appreciated a few minutes of Katie’s time to explain things and ease our nerves. Instead, she made us feel like a nuisance. Things escalated when an elderly couple started yelling in my face and Katie failed to intervene. The situation was utterly awful. When Clare, the owner, came out, she was angry and unhelpful. Without explanation and to my mums utter dismay, she canceled our booking then and there and abruptly took the cats out of the chalet, stating "it's my business, and I'll do what I want." The owner's decision to cancel our booking was not only unprofessional and unfair but it left us in limbo, forced to find alternative arrangements with less than 24 hours before our flight. The whole experience was utterly distressing and shocking. I would not recommend this cattery to anyone. The service was beyond unprofessional and it's left a lasting negative impression.

   Clare and the team at Claremont Cattery have shown the upmost compassion and professionalism whilst we had our two cats in there. They were faultless in supporting us through a difficult time over our house move and a family bereavement- they provided our cats with such excellent care in such a short time period. I think they were a little upset to leave to be honest! I’ve never seen my cats be so calm with effectively a stranger picking them up and putting them in a cat carrier, a task that is typically a two man job in my household. The cattery is spacious, with luscious outside space and a nice quiet area for the cats to thrive. I will confidently return to them should I need a cattery going forward, and cannot urge enough how safe and loved your cats will be here. Thank you again to the team, we cannot appreciate your support enough.

   I have been bringing my cats to the Claremont since the 1970s! Two Burmese, two moggies and now Chico. I think this speaks for itself. They take great care of the cats, are kind and professional and the place is spotlessly clean and well tended.

   Perfect service!! We have just collected our boys from Claremont, and couldn't be happier with the service, care and attention from the Claremont Team. Right from first contact, we were invited to come and view the cattery (huge green flag!) and talked through the booking process. The cattery is located far away from the road down a quiet side gate of the property, and is large, open and very green! The area is well manicured and the cat lodges are immaculately clean. Their website allows you to create a profile for your cat detailing behaviours, medical histories etc. My cats both have medications, and the team were very thorough at documenting their food / meds routine. Whilst we were away, we received photo and video updates, which was lovely and made us feel assured that our boys were happy and well cared for. We are booked in for several other stays this year and will be returning for all future trips after that too! Thank you Claremont Team! :)

   Claremont Cattery is amazing! Clare, Katie and all of the team have cared for our cat brilliantly. They’ve provided lots of updates, pictures, and my cat was happy there from day one. I’d highly recommend Claremont and will be using them again for sure.

   I do not usually do reviews but we have used Claremont twice now for our two cats Wanda and Klaus and have been very impressed. The cattery is set in a lovely garden and is clearly very well organised with great attention to detail (particularly important to us as our cats require specific food). The staff are also brilliant and love our cats as if their own whilst they are there - I would give them more stars if I could
