I had a very disappointing experience with Susan Cotter & Co. Communication was poor, with delays and a lack of clear updates unless I chased repeatedly. I found the service rude and unprofessional, especially from Susan Cotter, which made the whole process stressful. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Went with Susan Cotter & Co as a first time buyer purchasing a new build property. The process was incredibly painful due to lack of communication. I don’t think they could care less about their customers.
I have worked with Susan Cotter on arranging and redeeming equity loans. When working with them they have been able to arrange exchange/completion dates efficiently with little delays or postponing them. They have always shown professionalism on arranging the required documents.

Susan Cotter managed to mess up my property purchase, then ignored me when contacted about getting it resolved. After pushing them they have now turned around and said 'Oh well, not our problem as it has been done already'. Over 10 stories from other people with similar circumstances, I would avoid at ALL costs. Edit: If my review was not enough, the response from the owner should speak volumes as to their professionalism.
UNPROFESSIONAL, EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE, COST US A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF EXTRA MONEY AND LOST TIME. If I could give no stars I would. We went with Sue in 2017 to buy our first home a she seemed affordable and was recommended by the developer. It was a very stressful time. They did not keep us in the loop and everything was last minute, despite us constantly asking what we could be doing to prepare for the next step. Fast forward to 2021... We avoid her like the plague when selling our own home due to our really stressful experience last time. We get a different solicitor only to find our buyers have gone with her. Not only did she make our house move extremely difficult, she was unhelpful, deliberately difficult and very rude. She demanded a document from us as a house seller, that we should have received when we bought the house and the reason we didn't have it, it seems is because she didn't do her due diligence and did not give it to us in the first place. She also agreed to a moving date, then made no effort to meet this date. She was totally unapologetic. When this date fell through. This cost us in excess of £900 as we had booked a moving company. We then could not afford another moving company or the risk that the next date would fall through again so had to hire vans costing us another £600 to help us move 3+ hour journey to our new home. She also took issue with things unnecessarily which cost us time. It took months and months and months in limbo. We had to jump through so many hoops as a seller. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
