We had to have our lovely dog put to sleep. At this difficult time the staff could not have been kinder to us or our dog. They gave us time and explained the process clearly. I would like to thank them for being so empathetic.
I've been at the Palmerston Vet's for over 25 years and would never take my pets anywhere else, from the reception desk to the nurses and vets, they have all been kind and caring. Most dogs don't like going to the vets, but all 7 dogs i have had over the years love going there, their tails wagging they run around the reception desk squealing with joy to see them. That's the type of vet you should have.
We were with these vets for 9 years until last week when we had to put our gorgeous lad to rest. They have always been great with fitting us in and they made sure that Barney’s final moments with us were peaceful and how we wanted them to be. The vet gave us so much time, we didn’t feel rushed and we got to say a proper goodbye. We have today received a card in the post from them and some seeds to scatter to remember him by. What a great veterinary surgery. Thankyou for everything
Unfortunately what was a great vets had deteriorated in the past couple of years. There seems to be a huge turnover of staff recently and it seems to be a grounding place for newly qualified vets. I appreciate things were difficult during the pandemic but most other organisations have recovered but these guys seem to gone the other way.
No one really enjoys taking their pet(s) to the vets - but if you have to take them, this is probably one of the best places to visit. We've been registered here for our three for over eight years. Receptionists always answer the phone promptly, vetinary staff are always courteous, friendly and professional...and we've been confident that they always know the correct course of action/treatment...this happened to us with a specialist referral to Newmarket a few years ago....in order to save the life of our mog. Upon my last visit this week, I really liked the alterations with the moggy waiting area!
Lovely vets. Easy to communicate with, appointments available when we need. My dog loves all the staff and is happy to go in. Very kind to us when our cat sadly passed away. Insurance has had no issues liaising either them. All round great.
Such brilliant staff. Always so professional and happy. Nothing is too much trouble . We really appreciate all the care they have give to Tiggi , Benny abs Louis. Highly recommend this veterinarian surgery.
