Would like to say thank you to all the staff and vets at the Elm Park branch, our cat Charlie had a lot of dental treatment, the vet was understanding and took time to explain the procedure. She is very passionate about her work.

Hard working & caring Vet practice still in private family ownership (most are owned by huge corporate groups now). Highly recommended. Even do home visits if needed for special reasons.

First impressions count, as this being my first visit to Hill Park Vets at Elm Park, I found them to be very warm & welcoming and helpful and I was given a prescription without hesitation. What I particularly like is that you can see the same vet each time so they get to know & understand your pet's needs. I would recommend them.

Been in Hornchurch for 2 years now and in 11 years of owning my dog, I have never met a vets that make you feel so welcome. Always go above & beyond. Staff are amazing.

Outstanding service from Charlotte and her team who treated our beloved cat with professionalism and empathy and saved her life at the weekend. This was in comparison with Pets at Home who are incompetent and uncaring and just in it for the money . Pets at Home wanted a vast amount of money to treat my cat failing that they suggested I put her to sleep as in their own words she was really poorly and needed all sorts of treatment and needed immediate admission for 48 hours. I obtained a second opinion from the Hill Park Team who were outstanding. They treated my cat on the spot who is now up and about , I truly can not express my gratitude for what they did for our pet. 10/10 for the service, if you looking for a highly caring professional and experienced veterinary service I recommend them. I even got a follow up call from one of the vets today asking on how my cat was. Stay away from Pets at Home.

I have been taking my pets to Hill Park Veterinary Elm Park for over 20 years and recommended so many of my friends & family to take their pets to. However I have started to notice a decline in service & today I was so disappointed. I took my beautiful ageing 13 year old Bearded Collie to have her monthly Librela injection and was seen by a woman called Leena who I had never met before. My girl Jesse has always hated going to the vets, she knows she's going to be prodded and pulled about and is always nervous. The staff previously have always made her feel comfortable and put her at ease, but not today! I was the only appointment there, and honestly felt like I was an inconvenience. The injection was over in seconds and I asked Leena if she wouldn't mind taking a quick look at Jesse's face as I'd noticed a small lump appear, but the reaction I got was 'yes I can look but there will be a consolation fee!" I do not mind paying (the injection itself is £55) but the point of the matter was that all this woman was interested in was taking money, no love for animals or empathy shown at all! It would've taken no time at all for her to have had just a quick look. In my opinion this woman should find another career as she certainly isn't suited to this one, & I for one will not be taking any of my pets here again and certainly will not be recommending. Disgraceful attitude.

Only started using this vets the last couple of months of 2021, have always been to Wylie's at Upminster for the 131/2 years of my dog's life. I found Hill Park to be friendly and the Vets seemed very good and even though the whole standing in the car park waiting because of Covid rules was a pain, it's what you did. But at the end of 2021, the rules had been changed, but Hill park kept them going for whatever reason. This didn't bother us, until our beautiful boy, our Cocker Spaniel was diagnosed with Cancer end of Christmas and only lasted until 18th January 22'. It was then we had to make the painful decision to end his pain. So, 18th Jan, waiting in the Car Park for a Vet, they came and took him off of us, and 10/15 minutes later, we had to go around the back of the Surgery to an open door/window, where they wheeled him up to the window on a trolley, thank god I took his bed for him, and this is where we had to say our excruciatingly painful goodbyes to our Boy through an open door/window. We both wanted to be cuddling him when he went, but it wasn't possible, as we weren't allowed in the room. We had to take it turns through a window to say goodbye. So for this, I will never forgive Hill Park Vets, as when your beloved animal is passing way, the very least you could do is let the family in with them to say goodbye, especially when the Covid rules had changed and social distancing was no longer in force. I just wish I had made the 20 minute journey to Wylie's, as they wouldn't have done this, as even through the pandemic, you were allowed to stand with your dog in the surgery room, when he was being seen. It has taken me 10 months to write this review as my pain of loosing my dog is too much to bear. The Condolence card from Hill Park was a nice touch, but it didn't make up for how you let us say goodbye to our Boy.
