   Very sadly, After recently loosing our beautiful male cat to a careless driver outside home, Cherrydown handled the situation wonderfully. He had gone before a caring neighbour had arrived with him, Cherrydown provided a blanket to snuggle him into and a 'quiet' room to be able to say our heartfelt goodbye. A few days after the tragic accident, they sent a lovely sympathy card to us, which was a lovely personal touch. Thank you for being so professional and caring towards our boy, "Woody"

   First ever vet visit with new adopted dog who needed a check over which we got within 3 days. Lovely service, great staff and the vet was quick, efficient and caring. Two short courses of pills and the standard consultation fee £78. Seems reasonable so far Unusually I noticed something important to report si asked to see a manager as had an important message for them, won't share the reason until its addressed but its not due to pet welfare. The free help which should have been fixed in 2 minutes was acknowledged and i wasn't thanked for it and it remains the same 5 days later. Please phone me if my advice is needed please Update 2025 my dawg returns after 3 years and was treated quickly and efficiently, advice and medication provided and I believe the cost seemed reasonable, follow up appointment booked. Recognised one of the staff from last time who was fantastic then and fantastic today. Nicola T is a credit to the practice, made a fuss of my dawg and was naturally concerned and interested what was prescribed.

   I had been with this vets for over 20 years but sadly, over the last couple of years Cherrydown are easily the worst vets in the area. They have no compassion , no customer care and it’s all about taking as much money as possible from those of us that love our pets. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

   After 10 years using this vet for our two cats, we have finally given up. The service is atrocious. Can never get through on the phone, and when you finally do they say they have no bookings for 3 months and to use another branch. We’ve had the vaccine for life since they were kittens, and once again can’t actually get them an appointment. I would have recommended this vets years ago, now I’d say avoid it completely.

   A thoroughly professional and caring team to whom we are extremely grateful for the excellent care given to our very unwell cat over the past few weeks. Lots of cuddles and feeding by hand and lot of reassurance for anxious owners!

   Went to this vets surgery this morning in basildon with my poorly French bulldog and the staff and care was amazing they took there time, explained things, gave options the vet was very thorough the reception staff were very helpful I definitely wouldrecommend this vets surgery to anyone who has poorly animal my French bulldog is made a amazing recovery I today after the care treatment provide cherrydown vets a very big thank you for taking care of a our family member very big thank you

   Not sure why some prat gave a 1 star review even though he admits he never came here... yes it takes a while to get through, but the reception phone has an option that lets them call YOU back and you keep your position in the queue so completely redundant point if you ask me. The receptionists don't have an easy job at all (everyone forgets this) but they are the vital organs in the running of that place, and they, the vets, and the nurses are doing an amazing job.
