A very honest, caring, genuine Vets. All Staff and Vetinaries I've had the pleasure to meet with our pet(s), have been great. So kind, helpful and followed up after one of our pets died suddenly during Covid times. We will never forget Ashlands support given to us at that stressfull , heartbreaking time. All great except two dogs in waiting room, one of them barked loudly and continuously. The owner seemed unable to stop it and it must have gone on for at least ten to fifteen minutes. The other dog was clearly unnerved and my cat, in her carrier, was totally spooked. I cannot understand why one of the staff didn’t suggest she wait in her car with the dog and they would phone her when the vet she was seeing was available. Hence only four stars and it was nearly three !
My dog was due for a 6 monthly checkup and annual vaccinations, as well as a Citapoint injection and the administration of her flea and wormer tablet (which she won’t take from me). We received a warm welcome at the Reception Desk, with hugs and treats for my dog, and an excellent session with vet Stuart Black, who made my dog feel very much at home in the surgery, and not only conducted the procedures very efficiently, but gave very helpful nutritional advice.
Our pets have been looked after by the team in Ilkley for 15 years. We have had consistent genuine care. Life saving treatments. Minor injuries treatment. End of life care. We get regular thorough check ups and vaccinations. Paper work for travel abroad. They always enjoy seeing our pets. Julia

I couldn't recommend Ashlands Vets enough. I have a very nervous house cat and he doesn't like going anywhere but the Vet and staff at Ashlands deal with this extremely well and I would like to thank everyone for providing such an excellent service.
Lovely vets, seen last minute on a Saturday morning when we found a large wound on my cat. Seen and sorted that day. Very pleasant staff and explained all that was needed to be done. Highly recommended.

Incredibly compassionate service here. Myself and my partner had two consultations here over the past week; the latter of which we unfortunately chose to put down our pygmy hedgehog today after her health declined overnight. We really do appreciate the efforts made to save our little hog and how we were met with upmost sympathy and consideration when it came to the difficult decision of letting her go. Massive thanks to the vet Sam who was by us every step of the way and the lovely vet (didn’t catch her name) who assisted with our hedgehog’s euthanasia today - the entire experience was peaceful and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
