   Loved the spicy breaded cod and chips were so tasty. Only gripe would be that we bought a large portion 2 days before and it was huge and easily fed 3 people. Ordered the same again and fish was much smaller than the previous one. So we kinda scraped it through

   Fish was small, thin and batter was not at all crispy. Spicy fish (large size) was also smaller than expected, yet the batter was terrible. Chips hardly seasoned, and felt a bit undercooked. Bad luck? Or the norm? I don't know if I want to find out again.

   Have been a few times now when working in the area, food has been great every time, good portions, fresh food, staff are polite and shop appears very clean, let’s hope I get more work in the area

   I do like the food from here and it’s the best fish and chips we have had in Leicester! I just wish staff taking and making orders would pay more attention! Our last two orders were wrong and you can’t really check in in the shop. We had ordered gravy and hot home to find we had got curry sauce. We ordered a tray mix which was just chips and peas and not as pictured on the advertisement in the window! It’s a key part of shopping for food that you get you order! There’s not much you can do when you get home to find it’s wrong as it’s too far to go back with the rest going cold. Maybe just a training issue and a polite request for staff to pay more attention.

   Great fish & chips, the smell of the food when driving last in the evenings is so irresistible that you want to stop & grab some fish & chips on the way home.. Superb & would highly recommend to all

   Ah, this place probably serves the best fish and chips I've had in decades in UK. Very clean and impressed that no skin left on fish, my wife's particular irritant with English chippies. Also happy that fish and chips cooked from scratch rather than sitting around in a heater as seems common in England
