   I went this evening to Olympus Chippy. I entered to a friendly welcome. I looked in the hot counter. I won’t be having Steak & Kidney pie. I won’t be having a battered or Jumbo sausage. Decide not to have anything due to visual look of the food and prices that should be inside the M25. Staff friendly and helpful enough, but it’s not the first visit (and won’t be the last I’m sure) where I’ve gone home hungry.

   Ordered 2x donna wraps at 7.50 each and a portion of chips wait was ok. Expecting a wrap all rolled up but this was not the case. Wrap was open other places wrap it up tight this was left open and for 7.50 would expect alot of kebab but looked like a child's portion. Got home the wrap was stone cold as well as the kebab. The kebab. Was not the usual standard. Chips however were good but when asked for salt and vinegar I did say yes but couldn't taste any on the chips. You should take a session in how to make kebabs properly or just stick to making fish and chips. And maybe invest in a proper microwave to heat the wraps up.

   Ordered here a couple of times recently for delivery. Fish & chips were really tasty, nice crispy batter and the chips are really flavourful. Good portion sizes and they do some good meal deals. Nice to also see they make their own onion rings rather than using frozen like a lot of places do! Food has came piping hot every time, will be back again for sure.

   SFC was raw and pink in most parts, also had a strange taste to it. Chips just as bad same weird taste and mostly under cooked, almost taste as if they are just raw potato… not happy! Normally never have a problem with this chip shop until today? Please check the chicken before digging in.

   They were alright a few years ago, but honestly they are just awful now. Minimum payment on card in 2023? Archaic, illogical and irrational - if not a dodgy tactic to put more cash in their pockets and avoid tax brackets. Point-of-sale and payment processing systems which allow small payments are both affordable and widely available nowadays, so there truly is no excuse for this. Their hours are odd to say the least. The food is shocking, Stephen Hawking's reanimated corpse could fry better food with a blowtorch and a bowl of milk. Soggy is an understatement - perhaps "wet" is more suitable. Also occasionally undercooked or just barely brought to safe temps, but generally all just tastes bland. Honestly going here is just a waste of life, and I'd say money too if they'd accept it. Judging from other reviews I think the only word I can use to describe this establishment is "scummy".

   They have a minimum card payment in place which is inhuman and outdated, especially post-covid. Portions are large and the meat is decent, lots of sauce, but the chips are soggy.

   Food is nice but Jesus, doesn’t hurt to smile. Staff come across rude except for the owner. Not to mention I heard the member of staff talking about me loudly. Not the first time…

   The chips here are amazing. Drop by and grab a small bag on the way home. Worth a visit The fish is massive and fresh Honestly if you after a great bit of cod and fantastic chips come here Best chip shop up here that I’ve been to hands downnnn
