Had a great overnight stay in the van and woke to a full English breakfast to start the day. Great facilities and an amazing location too with a great view across the valley. Would happily return and hopefully soon. I big thanks to Anne for welcoming us.

If you fancy a weekend to completely unwind and watch the view this is the place. Unspoilt and no commercialism. We took our 6 Yr old and luckily there was another little boy and they just played and made there own entertainment. They must have spent an hour jumping over a gate. Compared to our last holiday when we went to a well known caravan site when everything we opened the front door we spent a small fortune. Lovely breakfast too. Thank you so much for having us xx

Great campsite. I regularly stay here with my dog. Other canvas residents are respectful and amenities are clean and tidy. A watertight barn provides cover from wet weather with electricity, basic chairs and tables, clean running water, 2 toilets, 2 showers and a fridge. The campsite owner can provide a fire pit and logs to burn. If you don't mind a short walks the pitches at the top of the first field are flat(ish) and a bit quieter away from cars arriving and the public bridleway. Easy access for walks upto Stoodly Pike Monument. They have an honesty box for fresh free range eggs and on Sundays they have a hot food van serving many folk from around the valley serving breakfast sandwiches.

Great campsite with spectacular views, very reasonably priced. The owner Ann is always helpful and friendly. The site boasts a huge barn with tables and chairs, a kettle, fridge and power points for phone charging, The showers are powerful and hot with facilities kept spotlessly clean. You can hire a fire pit and buy logs on site so you can enjoy a camp fire while taking in the amazing views across the valley. It’s a short but steep walk down to Hebden Bridge through pretty woods but we would recommend getting a taxi back up the hill ( £10) unless you are very fit! On Sunday morning there is a food cabin on site serving full breakfast, sandwiches and hot drinks. This is our second visit to Old Chamber and we hope to visit again soon.

Nice traditional camping site with friendly owner. We stayed for a weekend and it's a lovely quiet site ideally suited for backpackers or more traditional campers (no electric hook up). The site is up the hills above Hebden, and is terraced which gives every pitch a good view over the valley. It did rain alot when we stayed which wasn't great, however there is good drainage and was pleasantly surprised that the pitch didn't become boggy/muddy. There is a barn with tables and chairs which is ideal for escaping the Yorkshire weather. Toilets and showers were always clean and well stocked. They have fresh eggs available with an honesty box and a butty van on a Sunday for breakfasts and lovely hot drinks. Also offer fire pit rental which for me I can't camp without a fire. A 20 minute stroll down into Hebden but it is a steep walk back up so we cheated and got a taxi back. Ann the owner is very friendly and helpful, greeted us on arrival and pointed out where everything was. It's a lovely farm camp site and will definitely recommend and return again in the future.

Great for the price. Fab view from the top of the valley and a short walk down into Hebden Bridge. Cab back from town about £8, or a reasonable climb back up the hill. The toilets were portaloos but kept clean. Showers powerful. Also quite quiet for a sunny bank holiday weekend, which was good. Would come again, always enjoy Hebden Bridge too - plenty of good pubs and places to eat.

First visit and it won’t be our last. Helpful owner. Fantastic location with stunning views and a short walk down to Hebden Bridge. Clean toilets and showers. Breakfast available on site. We didn’t try it but it looked popular. Could benefit from a lot more level pitches. Ours was a slight slope.

We had a super fun time at Old Chamber Camping! Well run campsite, with decent facilities (in a converted barn), and a lovely position on the hills overlooking town. There's an honesty shed for eggs, ice cream and cake, along with a breakfast kiosk at weekends which serves up generous portions and tasty food. I'll definitely be back!
