   Well where to start..........Gareth was very inflexible with his working relationships with paying clients. I have found out the majority of what he delivers is free on youtube saving you £80 per 45 minutes and his lack of empathy for those who come to him in a struggling position was terrible. I have seen similar negative feedback about Gareth when they have been to see him to quite smoking and others and nothing has worked. Seriously do your homework guys before you explore not just this therapy but using a particular person within this practice. His name come up a lot on social media and his techniques you can easily find FREE on YouTube. All of this is from my own personal experience with him over a number of week, never again and a total waste of hundreds of pounds. Kind regards

   I went to see Gareth about hypnotherapy for managing my emotions towards my tinnitus. After undergoing the hypnotherapy sessions with gareth I can strongly say that my attitude toward my problem had improved greatly. Through various techniques and methods in the sessions I was able to detatch my emotions from the direct problem, consequently enabling me to cope far better. During my sessions with Gareth I had to go to university, during university my sessions continued online, the online sessions were extremely helpful and were very easy to take a part of. I would highly reccomend Gareth and Alchemy Hypnotherapy if you feel that hypnotherapy could be beneficial for you.

   I am a NHS clinician and can HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gareth and Alchemy Hypnotherapy! I have been seeing Gareth in his Online Clinic for a few months and truely wish I would have done this years ago as its been money well spent because I feel alot happier and calmer after just 5 sessions! Gareth has a fantastic calm manner that will put you at ease and allows you to go at your own comfortable pace through the therapy sessions which I found very helpful! The Alchemy Hypnotherapy Online Consulting Room has been a great way to have my sessions as I live in Kent, England....it doesn't crash out like Skype and Zoom and the added bonus is I can do my Hypnotherapy sessions when I am comfortable in bed allowing me to relax even more in my familiar surroundings!!

   All the sessions I've had with Gareth at Alchemy Hypnotherapy (previously The Penarth Practice) have been worth every moment of my time. Gareth is a truly magical wizard with his holistic approach and in depth knowledge and understanding of the mind, body and soul. I've had other counselling in the distant past with group led classes on the NHS but found I didn't get along well and I ended up leaving because it wasn't working for me. Very disheartening when waiting lists were so long too. Back to the now and I had no issues with getting an appointment after an initial enquiry via the contact page of their website. Although I was very nervous with the idea of a long distance one to one video call online as I'm very shy but I quickly discovered there was no reason to be as Gareth is very easy going and conversations flow and before I realise another appointment is over. The software used for the face to face appointment is really great and easy to use and very much up with the future of technology. As for the actual consultations I now look forward to seeing and speaking with Gareth as his modern day approach of solutions focused compared to the archaic CBT is refreshing and is working well for me. Gareth gives gentle nudges when I fear change and loads of support as I move on at a controllable pace together and he encourages me to embrace the challenges he sets. I really enjoy reporting back at the beginning of each session and having that satisfaction of accountability too! It's only when I look back to reflect do I notice the achievements I have made and the problems I have conquered and faced up to. Thank you.
