   We are just coming to the end of a week's break at this delightful cottage and can say that quite honestly, its the loveliest cottage I can recall staying at. Every comfort or need has been catered for from the very start, and the attention to detail makes this place very special. Its position and outlook is very agreeable; its pretty and fragrant garden space draws you out there morning, noon and evening. There is so much to do in the area and we have been blessed with fine weather, but even if that were not the case, the cottage is so comfortable and pleasant, I could relax here for the week quite happily, without crossing the front door. Fantastic hosts.

   We stayed in Honey Cottage for a week. The cottage is beautiful, in a lovely setting with the river just across the road and the canal a 10 minute walk away. The owners have restored the cottage really thoughtfully, with nice touches. We were left a home baked cake and a nice bottle of red, with fresh flowers on the table in the lounge too. Good quality cottage with the owners on hand next door. In our top 3 cottages that we have stayed in.

   We could not have been happier with our week at Honey Cottage in March 2024. Owners Gary and Nini take enormous pride in ensuring their guests enjoy their beautiful holiday home. We enjoyed Honey Cake, Prosecco, lovely flowers and a complimentary bar. The decor is exquisite with Nini having an eye for detail. Well equipped kitchen, the comfiest of beds and a great shower and bath. The garden is so pretty with regularly stocked bird feeders. All in a superb, very quiet location and no issue with on street parking right outside the door. Gargrave itself is picture perfect and has fantastic walks for our little dog along the canal, riverbank or Pennine Way. Well stocked Co-op and 3 pubs and an Indian Restaurant. Gary and Nini were on hand but not intrusive if we needed any help or advice. We will definitely return for another visit and missing Honey Cottage already.

   We’ve enjoyed holidays in North Yorkshire many times over the years, but we’ve never enjoyed quite as wonderful a home-from-home experience as Honey Cottage before. It’s in Gargrave, a small (but not too small) village a few miles to the north of Skipton. Beautifully situated between a slow, shallow river and a quiet stretch of Leeds-Liverpool canal, everything is within an easy five minute walk, including a well-stocked Co-op, several great pubs and top drawer fish and chips and an Indian restaurant. The cottage itself is finished to the highest standard, with a beautiful front garden and spacious, airy rooms newly decorated and fully equipped. It’s on a quiet, broad street with a large green in the centre and stepping stones for crossing the gentle river for local relaxing walks exploring the area. Owners Nini and Gary live next door and were on hand if we needed them (we didn’t) and were welcoming without being intrusive. Perfect, which is a word that sums up Honey Cottage pretty well to be truthful. We’re already planning our next visit

   Luxury Holiday Cottage in Gargrave . Truly special .Perfect location . Beautifully decorated and furnished . You can tell this characterful cottage has been loving restored by the owners who provide home made cake and welcome treats . Only 5 min walk to the famous Settle Carlisle Railway with trains to Skipton ,Settle , the West coast & Leeds with connections to London . 5 min walk to joint the Pennine Way Shops include a florist, chemist, small supermarket, antiques, sweet/ice cream shop , 3 pubs , fish and chip take away and restaurant , Indian Restaurant and take away

   We have just enjoyed a week in this superb cottage. Some lovely touches - a tasty honey cake, prosecco and, of course, the honesty den if you enjoy a tipple or 2!! Beautifully decorated to an extremely high standard. The owners live next door and are on hand should you need them. This in addition to the surrounding countryside and walks along the canal. Thank you.

   We had a great stay at Honey Cottage. Very luxurious and comfortable. We appreciated all the personal touches, including the complimentary homemade buns, drinks and the fridge stocked with food basics. The location was fab, less than 100 meters to the stepping stone river crossing. Short walk to nice pubs, shops and tea rooms. Not far to the the train station or the canal which we used for a family cycle to Skipton. We couldn't get the internet to work. Wi-Fi was good but no internet so we couldn't use the smart TV for streaming. Good 4G signal though. The hosts were great, attentive and have good advice on the area.
