Beware of the car park charges! Doesn't matter if you add your vehicle reg to the screen inside, you'll still get a parking fine! On our 3rd or 4th now! Just received a reply for the latest appeal which has been refused even though I submitted 2 lots of evidence proving that parking had been paid for!
I had my engagement party here, I would 100% recommend. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was set up as I requested, offered help in setting our own display up. The Q Suite room was perfect - the DJ was unreal. Everyone loved it and had the best time. Thankyou so much!
The 147 is a fantastic spot with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. The mixed grill is absolutely amazing – highly recommended
went for a game of snooker priced well £8 per hour. tables look a bit tired and inside snooker area in general. main bar is good, staff friendly and welcoming. car park bit small and make sure u book your car in on tablet
Sun’s out Fun’s out at right now at The 147 Odsal. Outdoor BBQ, DJ, a family and pet friendly environment with the best staff of any pub I’ve frequented (and I’ve done my share of research!) If the sun isn’t your thing they have a snooker hall, 3 pool tables and 2 dart boards. Either way, the staff, the customers and the food are properly next level!
Good bar handy for Odsal stadium. Enjoyed pre game drink there at reasonable prices
Ok for a quick drink ... Drinks are pricey tho. Called for a couple games of pool but the tables have really gone downhill over the years. Such a shame as it used to be the hub for Wibsey/Low moor.
Really bad experience on Christmas day. We arrived and they only had one person on the bar. Had to wait 15 minutes for a drink. Were then told to sit down to wait for our meal which was due to be at 4pm. At 4:15pm, a manager comes over and tells us they are running an hour and a half behind and that we could have a refund or wait. We decided we would take the refund. The manager said he would go round everyone first before refunding us. We ended up waiting another 45 minutes just for the money back. Being behind on the meal is situational and can’t be helped, but the incompetence and inefficiency of the management in dealing with it was unprofessional and embarrassing.
SHAMBLES! one of the bartenders is has fish lips. constantly talking about a girl he smashed in the mens toilets on the 5th of december 2019. i was disgraced! as a strong black woman i hate to see women being talked about like this. other than this the experience was great, loved the food and drinks and pool and music and racism and formula 1 and geek bars and the coke bag strewn across the bathroom floor and slazenger.
We booked out a room aug22 for an evening wedding shindig. From the start, organising with Becky, right to the end, of last orders on the night, we couldn’t fault anything. The room was lovely, good food, bar staff were fab, and a great evening was had by all. Many thanks
