Amazing selection of some amazing creatures. Staff are knowledgeable,friendly and super helpful with both pre and post purchase advice. Special mention to Hannah has helped us with all 3 of our munchkins. Holiday boarding service is also brilliant
Staff are Fantastic and have so much knowledge about every reptile you can think of! I brought my panther chamelon here and they helped get the tank set up and are always happy to help with any questions i have! The shop is always fully stocked & clean! Would highly recommend! They also do party's too! :)
As a first time Bearded Dragon owner, went to Slitherin Reptiles Ltd in Coalville for advice and support. They were so helpful and took time to talk to me and answered the many questions I had. My new girl Peggy hasn't had the best start in life, with part of her tail and back claw missing, so I was over the moon when they said they did boarding for reptiles whilst we were on holiday. I dropped her off, they reassured me that she would be fine and also carried out a health check on her. I meant I could go away knowing she was in good hands. Thank you all for the support and help to a very new owner.
Had the best experience with Joe, we went to ask lots of questions about getting a snake for our daughter and he couldn’t have been more helpful! Spent so much time with us and was super patient. We got to hold different snakes and came away feeling really confident about how to best care for our new family member. Everyone in the store was lovely and welcoming !
Came here to show the kids some animals Mrs wanted a snake so thought we would come and check out the prices and how to look after them etc Guys in the shop where really friendly and you can tell they knew everything there is to know Handled some of the animals there. Which was great for the kids Really nice place to come and visit if your after a new pet Would highly recommend. This wasn’t local and a 40 min drive. But we’ll worth it Keep up the great work
We started coming here a few months ago due to our usual place closing down. We thought we'd take the 60 mile round trip and see what it was like after seeing their posts on social media. We have a large collection of inverts and reptiles so need somewhere reliable and well stocked to keep them all happy. We were not disappointed! The selection and variety of stock are exceptional, reasonably priced and (most importantly) very well looked after. Clean and spacious enclosures and beautiful healthy animals. It's clear that the animals come first. Even though our usual store has now re opened, we won't be returning there and will travel further to come here instead. We know we can always get the food and equipment we need to keep our inverts and snakes healthy. The staff are brilliant, patient (especially because we always want to see what's new!) and knowledgeable. We're always welcomed when we walk in the store and everyone is so friendly. I cannot recommend this store enough!
I travelled an hour with my two children to get to Slitherin reptiles with a view to purchasing a crested gecko for my son. Straight away we were welcomed by the owner and had a great time having some hands-on time with lots of snakes, which we are also interested in (already got two corn snakes). Another member of staff assisted us with the gecko info. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful and we came home with a very cute little critter. The shop is very well stocked with all reptile stuff so we bought a few last bits for the gecko but I left them in the shop by mistake. After a quick call, the owner sorted a refund and let me know by phone that it had gone through. Excellent service! Many thanks! We'll be back (for the Royal Python, I think!)
