   Deeply Disheartened – Reptile Conditions Were Horrific My partner and I visited PetWise today and were initially really excited , we’re huge reptile lovers and keep reptiles ourselves, so we were looking forward to seeing what they had. When we walked in, the shop looked wonderful at first glance , bright, spacious, and full of products for all kinds of pets dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, you name it. They truly have an impressive range of pet supplies. However, when we got to the reptile section, everything changed. What we saw absolutely broke my heart. The vivariums were in a poor state , dirty, unkempt, and clearly not being properly maintained. The food and water bowls were filthy, some even had mold and old waste inside them. This isn’t something that happens overnight ,that kind of neglect takes days. Some enclosures had old, rotting food left inside ,wilted lettuce, uneaten items, and dry water bowls. One snake was clearly thirsty, moving toward an empty, dirty bowl. The smell was awful and it was very clear that the reptiles were not being properly cared for. It was honestly heartbreaking to see. My partner mentioned visiting years ago when the shop was great, but sadly that’s no longer the case. I left feeling upset, disgusted, and disappointed. While I’ll give credit that PetWise offers a huge variety of pet products, I strongly believe they should not be selling live animals , especially reptiles,if this is the standard of care. Reptiles are often misunderstood and underrated animals, but that’s no excuse for neglect. I would never recommend this place to any true animal lover. If I could, I’d rescue every single reptile in there. This experience has truly shaken me.

   I do highly recommend go to pet wise for anything pet related because the stuff are amazing and the service there are amazing and it was that good there I’m going back Tuesday to get another bird and more toys for my birds to play with

   We left our baby Parrot with them for a week, and the team took great care of him, we got him back calm and in a great condition. We will definitely be returning customers. They also have a massive variety of products, cages, stands etc. Would definitely and greatly recommend. Thank you guys

   I visit a few times a month. been dealing with Jamie in the reptile department for years. Very professional and always gives good advice. I recently purchased a 3ft grey viv and full set up. Jamie built it and decorated the inside. Very happy with it. Can't fault the reptile staff at all. The new young woman is very helpful to. Both a credit to the store
