The service and care provided by Chine House Veterinary Hospital is excellent. I would recommend the practice to anyone who wants the best treatment for their small animals.
Not sure really how to review this as it's the 2nd time ive had to call for an appointment for a poorly bird both times they couldnt wait to get off the phone wasn't any advice given just me yes we cant help you and to call a normal vet to see if they can give comforting care to my bird. So it might be a good vet service but I'm yet to find out for myself if all the other reviews are true
Our bearded dragon died today, and I had absolutely no clue as to what to do in this situation. I knew Chine house was our closest reptile vet so rang them. We were not registered as we'd been very lucky and our dragons had not had to be seen by anyone in their lives. They were extremely accommodating, sensitive to us and completely thoughtful. An absolutely wonderful place and thank you for helping us today and making us feel so welcome and talking us through the process, especially being so long to my 7 year old who had to come with me.
I was told to ring Chine House Veterinary on recommendations because they care for small birds. Had appointments with Craig. Couldn't have asked for a better and more caring services. The staff was brilliant and aftercare was so thoughtful.
Raven is very happy again after today's visit with Martin, she hates the vets but loves Martin and very happily goes in to see him. I've been using Chine for a very long time and whilst I've heard they aren't quite as cheap as others I'd never swap the 5* treatment my dog gets from there. They have in house testing and they staff their own overnights and emergencies. You get a vet 24/7 365 and never get passed on and charged extra. She's had a couple of operations which I was in bits over as she has epilepsy but he reassured me both times and personally did the surgery and she was absolutely fine. Never had a problem there and would never go anywhere else as I love and value my dog so much. I'm editing my review to say I sadly lost my beloved Raven a year ago. Took me this long to be able to talk about her. The service I received was second to none. No being transferred to other vets for out of hours problems and Martin stayed to talk to me and went through every test they had, sadly the epilepsy and heart murmur just kept fighting each other and she didn't come back out of it that time. He helped her go for her eternal sleep and we couldn't have got through it anywhere else or with anyone else. I could tell he was also upset. Sorry it's such a sad update but it times like that where you really need a vet who really cares and you can totally trust. They organised a private single cremation and I'm off to find my tissues.
Welcoming staff that put you at ease. Handover of horse into their care was very slick. Comms from vet undertaking surgery really good. Paperwork promptly delivered as well.
I have used chine house for over 30 years. Martin has always been excellent often in difficult circumstances. I would recommend him unreservedly.
So lucky to have this great vets in the village, I have been taking my dogs to them for years and they offer a very friendly and competitively priced service. Always great with my dogs and offer all the help and advice you could want. Highly recommended!
My bella was not well and they made everything so comfortable for her, they are the best vets i have ever gone to and would never go anywhere else in the future, even received this today made me cry but such a lovely thing to do, everyone there including the reception desk was so good to us, thank you
I had my first vet visit with Craig and he was just simply amazing and made me feel at ease. He gave me incredible advise and even took the time to write down some useful website links to help me with my gecko.
