Amazing Cattery. Looked after my precious boys Simba and Teddy whilst I went away. I have never left my cats before but will definitely be using Mossdale Cattery again. My cats are calm since coming home and it’s like they’ve never been away.
I’m truly so happy I found Mossdale Cattery! I left my beloved Sphynx cat there, and I could tell he felt safe, calm, and comfortable. When I picked him up, he was in great spirits and clearly well cared for. I’m incredibly grateful to the amazing staff — such kind, loving people who genuinely care about animals and what they do. You can feel their warmth from the very first moment. I wholeheartedly recommend Mossdale Cattery to anyone who needs to leave their pet for a while and wants to be sure they’ll be in the best hands. Lovely rooms for the cats and lots of places for them to lay and play with toys. Also I was updated with pictures of my babies whilst I was away. Definitely will be using them again in the future.
Unreliable. Mossdale insist on a archaic booking system, whereby bookings are simply penciled in over the phone. You are then required to visit within 24-48 hrs or so to fill in forms and pay. Nothing can be submitted online or by email like every other cattery. Due to a tight work schedule, I asked this be relaxed and for me to attend the following week, which was agreed. When contacting them again to arrange a suitable time to visit. I was told they had given the space away, leaving me struggling to place my cat during half term. The fear of uncertainty is simply not worth the risk. Strongly recommend to avoid.
I found my cat relaxed and happy
We took our two kittens to Mossdale for a few days whilst we were away in September 2021 and were delighted with the service. Cosy accommodation, and very friendly and helpful staff. The kittens were hesitant when we left them, but full of beans when we collected them so really settled in well and were obviously well looked after. Would not hesitate to use them again.
Friendly staff who care for your cats. Both our cats seamed happy on collection. Couldn't though work out if they said "hi" or "where the heck have you been" but they were happy and well fed. I felt fine leaving them behind and content they were safe. Standard, competetive pricing. Clean suites for the cats and plenty for them to sit on, hide under or climb on. My two, although they don't know it, will be staying there again in a few months. Not overcrowded and not noisy. Happy customer and happy...ish cats.
