Our dog stayed here over the weekend and we were really happy with our experience. Our dog came home clean and happy, and we were updated on how he had been on pick up. Also really happy to find a kennels that walks the dogs and lets them have time outside, this was a huge deciding factor in booking with Wooflands. Will use again and highly recommend
Our German Shepherd, Buddy who can be quite an anxious boy at times, has had a couple of trial stays at Woodlands, before our fortnight away next month. Following what Alysha recommended, we discovered that kennels were not the best stay for our Buddy, he wouldn't settle, regardless of the efforts from Alysha, buying him juicy bones from the local farm shop and more (above and beyond). But if anyone is looking for a lovely and loving place for their precious pups to stay then I would definitely recommend The Wooflands, they really do care about the welfare, it's also a beautiful location, outdoors and lot's of places for the dogs to explore.
My two lurchers have stayed here a few times now. The kennels came recommended to me, but I was still a little nervous as one of my two can be quite unsure of other dogs - he loves them when he gets to know them, but can be quite barky initially as he's scared. I shouldn't have worried - he had a lovely time, came out not really fussed to see me, which I think is always a good sign, and next visit they both had their tails wagging and were really pleased to see the staff. Will definitely be visiting again!
Great place. They looked after my boy whilst I was on holiday I must admit I was nervous leaving him in boarding as never used one before but I had no need to be worried. He was well looked after and happy. I was also given peace of mind when I emailed to check in on him, my email was answered promptly and I was also sent pics of him on his walk. Will definitely be using them again for my next trip away.

This would be zero stars if that was an option. My cousin arranged for wooflands to look after their two dogs while they were getting married. After dropping the dogs off and arriving at the wedding venue to begin the festivities, they received a call to say one of the dogs had become aggressive and they would need to come and collect her. Let me state the dog is a chihuahua crossed with a French bulldog and is about the size of a cat. The call was received not 30 minutes after the dogs had been dropped off which in my opinion is not a lot of time to allow a scared dog to calm down. I will reiterate she was scared, not aggressive. I would not recommend this kennels unless you can risk a last minute call after you drop off your dog to say they are incapable of managing them, leaving you to frantically find an alternative. Very unreliable and does not say a lot for a professional boarding kennels that is unable to handle a scared small dog.
Many Thanks for looking after max for the week, he won't be going anywhere else from now on. You guys were brilliant we didn't worry at all about max while we were away.
I trust the kennels here more than anywhere else I have ever found. My dog is nervous and dog aggressive but she's always excited to go here and they make sure to walk her alone, keeping her away from other dogs.
