Great location, really nice and good quality hotel. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, they were very helpful with some of the issues I had. My second room was really nice. The health club is fantastic and good value. Really recommend this place for a chilled out getaway ☺️

Just stayed here for 2 nights. More like a 3 start hotel. Rooms basic. Hotel is pretty dirty in general. Food is basic. Staff are not the most polite bunch to be honist. Just because the name Celtic group is on the header, dont think for 1 minute this hotel is 4 star. Music so load while eating, we couldn't hear each other talk. Couldn't get a drink at the bar at mid day when we asked staff, there reply "not right now as I am serving tea and coffee only" Sorry but why is there not bar staff to service us. Another member of staff swearing at the TV as the football was playing while we trying to enjoy a quiet drink. Parking charge of £12 a day even though we just spent £350 on 2 night stay is a joke. We will certainly not be coming back.

I had a great stay, and it was made even better by the lovely service I got from one of your breakfast staff. Her name is Chung, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. She was polite, helpful, and really knowledgeable. Please pass on my thanks to her for giving me such a positive start to the day.

A comfortable and well serviced hotel close to the Celtic Manor Golf Resort. My room was large and well equipped. All the staff I dealt with were polite and helpful. The breakfast was fine but with a limited selection of fresh food.

A very clean, welcoming hotel. All of the people who served us were informative, cheerful and positive. Nothing was too much trouble for the lady on room service duty in the mornings and the restaurant team were very helpful when we ordered a slightly different breakfast. The food was excellent. We had a family room, as stayed with our son while visiting the other one at uni for a few days, and the room had the right amount of luxury, comfort and cosiness. We will return!

Wonderful hotel unfortunately surrounded by dual carriageway s and Motorway. Great for access and Celtic Manor. Staff excellent. Food good. Rooms wonderful though bed uncomfortable as 2 twins pushed together. If you open window too much road noise. Also they charge £8.50 for parking which is unnecessary. I would recommend.

Really nice hotel with friendly professional staff. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with good fittings in a classic style. Bathroom is again spacious and more modern. Nice big bed and room was quiet too which is always much needed. Breakfast was nice but eggs were a little dry but really good selection of hot and cold food. My only issue was food stopped being served on room service before 9 which meant had to find food elsewhere. Also no directory in room which meant calling reception was a call 0 and hope situation.

We loved this place so much that we stayed an extra night! From the moment we arrived and were met on the front desk by Kirsty, we really enjoyed our stay. Clean and well maintained foyer, hallways, restaurant and bar area. We stayed in a lovely room that that had really nice decor and was not stuffy. A good size for the three of us with comfortable beds, and the bathroom was perfect. The staff were helpful whenever we needed assistance, and we felt very relaxed during our entire stay. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm which is exactly what my family and I needed. All in all a very nice and enjoyable stay. If we go back to that part of Wales again, we will definitely be staying there.

Group of 4 of us stayed here as part of a golfing weekend at the Celtic Manor. booked with them directly. When you walk in the reception is very nice however the queue to check in to nearly 15 minutes and there were only 4 people in front of us. The room is functional but clean. However there wasn't even a bottle of water in there to drink so you either had to drink from the tap in the bathroom or pay for bottled water in the bar. The Rib restaurant was great for evening meal. The drinks were a little pricey but I guess you expect that. 2 x Double G&T and 2 pints were £36 Breakfast though was very disappointing. The coffee was instant and very poor. Asked for a better coffee and it was no better. The fruit etc was good as were the baked goods but the Cooked breakfast was dry and poor. Our room overlooked the courtyard area at the back which was very tatty looking. Very disappointing that residents have to pay extra for the car park too £8.50 per vehicle. For a Brand that is known for its quality , ie Celtic Manor , this Hotel is a major disappointment and does not live up to expectations.

Arrived 11.pm to be given normal double room when I had booked a family room. It transpired there was a fault in the system and there were now no family rooms left. Lady on reception quickly found 2 double rooms next to each other as an alternative at no extra charge. Rooms a little dated and would benefit from some redecoration. Rooms were however very large. Breakfast very nice with plenty of choice. Would stay there again without hesitation.
