10/10 highly recommended. Very kind and very patient to both humans and animals. Managed to fit me in quickly to help my matted older cat. Very knowledgeable and has given me some education tips to hopefully prevent the matts going forward. Many thanks to both Julia and Lucy.
I’ve had an amazing experience at Poppy’s place. My 16 week old standard poodle looks and smells amazing and my miniature poodle had a surprise bath and blow dry too. Poppy went above and beyond to care for Bear (puppy) and I had an amazing tutorial while I was there. Thankyou so much!!!!
Took my cat lynx to have a groom today. I wasn't expecting a lot as now she is elderly and not looking after herself as well as she once did, she had gotten a few bad matts of fur, which she wouldn't let anyone near. However, I can't believe how amazing the team at poppies was today. Honestly. I can't thankyou enough. You were so patient and passionate, and took mine and my cats feelings into account. Making lynx feel at ease, and earning her trust. You can see how you care about the animals you look after. Booked in again in a months time for a pamper for lynx. Thankyou so much
Always brilliant with my little blue staffy Luna, nothing is ever too much, I only ever bring her in for a bath and sometimes nail clip , but always accommodating, me and my little girl absolutely love this place, can’t ever thank the staff enough for what they do.
Poppy’s Place is truly special! Jules and her team take incredible care of my Maine Coon, Cece. She refuses to let me groom her and isn’t the best at keeping herself clean, so I needed a helping hand—and now, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cat! Jules’ care, skill, and gentle approach are outstanding, and Cece always comes home smelling fresh and looking absolutely beautiful.
Very impressed with the way they have slowly eased my new puppy into her grooms so she will feel comfortable going again and again. I was given useful advice sheets on how to care for my cockerpoo's coat in between visits. It feels more like a social club for dogs as they are allowed to walk around and all colleagues are very friendly.
The ladies here clearly care and love your pet I feel very safe leaving my beautiful Betsy ,she always looks fab and happy
I had been trying to groom my cat, with no luck! He had thick matting all along his underbelly and elsewhere, and wouldn't let me touch it. I took him to Poppy's place, and was impressed with the way the staff removed the matting while keeping him calm, also applying dry shampoo and grooming the rest of his coat. I noticed the staff seem to have a genuine connection with the pets they groom - nice to see! Very pleased with the service and price. I would recommend Poppy's
Can't leave a high enough review for the lovely ladies at Poppy's place. My cat Isabelle was *SO* well taken care of and she helped us greatly, very kind people who genuinely love and care for animals, very reliable and do an incredible job. Cannot recommend them enough, and now that I've found them I'll be back time and time again.
