We were at the Morton Hotel from 29 October to 2 November 2025. Our room was cozy but the closet was not sufficient, especially given the London weather at the time. The bathroom was massive, but there was insufficient space for personal toiletries. These minor negatives aside, we were very happy with the hotel. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the nearest Underground station and the bus stops are almost right in front of the hotel itself. Other points of interest are just short walks away. But what really impressed was the superb service. From the time we checked in, Mimi constantly offered us solutions that made our London stay a lot easier. At the time of checkout, Lumu anticipated our needs that made our departure a lot more relaxed. We will be happy to go back to the Morton Hotel.

I stayed for seven nights and it was absolutely wonderful! I usually stay at larger chains in the U.S., but all of them in the area had a number of poor reviews, so I decided to go with the Morton Hotel. I had friends staying at a nearby hotel, so that made selecting the area of London to stay in pretty straight forward. I requested the quietest room available and while the view out the window wasn’t much, it was totally quiet every night. I stayed in a “Bloomsbury Bedroom” and the room’s size was about what I expected, which was enough room for me, while the bathroom was larger than I expected. The cabinet had enough room to hang my shirts/coats and having a small fridge was a huge plus for such a long stay. The hotel was super clean and decorated for the holidays. I’m thinking the hallways/stairwell leading to the rooms had recently been updated, looked great! The area was super convenient, there is a healthy, fast casual restaurant right next door that I ate at three times (Farmer J), there’s also a Pret A Manger and a small Tesco a block away, with the Russell Square station right across the street from them. Lastly, I had breakfast several times in the dining area and it was just as cozy as the pictures make it look. I was greeted most mornings by Aytul who was super helpful with any questions or requests I had and the rest of the staff was just as great! One note, the front desk is on the basement level, and there isn’t someone at the front door when you walk in. You need your key card to get through the front door, then you need to use it again in the elevator or to open another door to walk up to your room. I never felt unsafe in the area and quite liked being able to zip in/out sort of like I lived there. All that said, I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I know the decision on where to stay will be an easy one!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Morton Hotel. It is near busy Russell Square, but quiet, nonetheless. Clean and very eco-friendly. Our room was very comfortable with a sleep-friendly bed and non-cramped bathroom. The place was equipped with a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. To us, our favorite part of the hotel was the front desk/lobby/lounge, The Library. A calming room to enjoy a breakfast (we became big fans of their porridge) or a night cap. Special kudos to Aytul and Mimi for their cheery service and good humor. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Morton for the last night of our trip to London, and I wish we could have stayed a few extra nights! We arrived early, but our room was already prepared and we were able to check in early for no charge. The room was lovely, very clean with a large comfortable bed. Appreciated the thoughtful eco-friendly touches and cozy decor. The front desk was very helpful and booked an airport taxi for us first thing in the morning. The location was very walkable to nearby destinations like the British Museum and Russel Square Gardens. Would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel is in a great location near Russell Square, nice area to walk around in, lots of good restaurants nearby and our family walked to the theater comfortably. The staff were remarkable. I haven't had a front desk person orient and welcome me to their space as well as the night staff did upon my arrival. The security was very good as well. Our room was a two bedroom and it was spacious, well organized and made us regret not staying longer. It was filled with snacks and drinks that we were encouraged to enjoy. The room was comfortable with great amenities. We used The Library (a place to hang out, have a drink or eat breakfast) and it was a cozy place, also filled with great staff. I would stay again if I had any chance.

A lovely, small boutique hotel. Downstairs bar is cute and cozy. The hotel is just next to the British museum. Staff are helpful and accommodating. I stayed one night, staff kept my luggage safe all day after check out so I could do site seeing.

Best find in London after visiting this city for over 30years! Great value for rooms that are roomy and sun-lit. Reception is warm and friendly. 2minutes walk to the Russell Square tube station. Convenient to cafes and shops. Have already booked my return stay.

This is a cute hotel in Camden. The rooms are fine with a lot of amenities. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to help you out. The staff really are the key to this hotel’s success. The building itself is old but the interior is well kept up. They use an online check in system so you can use your phone to open the front door and room door. Overall a pleasant find in London.

Very cute hotel with large rooms! A bit old but kinda has its magic because of that. I don't care if there are some color defects on the wooden bed, since the bed is large and comfortable, bathroom is quite big as well with excellent stream and all amenities you need. Location is perfect! 1 minute from the tube and close to everything. Service is very friendly. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Highly recommended!

Very clean room, they provided a lot of bathroom necessities that a lot of other hotels do not offer anymore. They had plenty of towels. Room was comfy and spacious for being in London. Staff was amazing!
