We had the most wonderful stay at the Ampersand. Everyone on staff was fantastic and so kind to my daughter and whole family. We stayed in a suite on the top floor, which had plenty of space for a crib/pack-and-play in the bedroom and room for her to play in the living area. The kitchenette was very helpful for traveling with a little kid! The bathroom was beautiful with a rain shower, big tub, and heated floors. Science tea was a highlight of the trip, and we were so impressed that it managed to keep the attention of a 2 year old! The servers were again so kind and helpful. Finally, the location was great for both walking and public transportation (and for watching public transportation - the bus stop outside the hotel also provided entertainment for our toddler!). We also enjoyed visiting the shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. I hope to stay at the Ampersand again and will definitely recommend it to others!

Everything was fantastic. Hotel is located away from overcrowded areas and chaos, it is in the cutest local/residential area that is a easy commute to any attraction. Great coffee shops, food, and overall beautiful area. A lovely neighborhood indeed. I was worried it would be too far out , but it is the absolute ideal location. Direct line from LHR via tube too! Hotel is spotless. Housekeeping was discreet and very efficient-they kept the room immaculate. The bed had nice linens was super comfortable, shower had great pressure/hot water, and perfect night sleep- no noise. Hotel staff regularly checked in with us to see how our visit was and offer any help. I can not imagine wanting to be anywhere else especially after seeing various areas of London and other hotels. This is the hotel we will use over and over. Amazing hotel.

Lovely hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautifully decorated hotel, rooms we immaculately clean. We stayed in a music theme room on the 5th floor. It was lovely and quiet, room was spacious and comfortable. We had a fantastic nights sleep. I loved the little duck in the bathroom made me smile! And the extras in the fridge were a nice touch and greatly appreciated after a busy day! We would definitely stay again. Location is incredible so convenient for the tube, the museum and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. My only disappointment was that we couldn’t get food in the hotel before 6pm which we needed to do as we were heading out early and we arrived back at the hotel after 12 hoping for a little nightcap but even on a Friday night we were told bar was closed and the concierge couldn’t recommend anywhere in the area where we could go! Which was a bit of a disappointment. But all in all it was a very pleasant stay! Our only regret is not booking breakfast or afternoon tea in the drawing room! It looked stunning! Had we more time there we would have. But I’m sure we will be back! Overall very comfortable pleasant stay on top location!

Prepare to be charmed by this fantastic London hotel! For those who love unique and creative places, this one really delivers. The design is beautiful and feels both sophisticated and welcoming. The room was a sanctuary of comfort. The layout was both luxurious and practical, the bed was a dream, and the amenities were top-notch. What really stands out is the staff. They are genuinely warm and passionate. Their enthusiasm made us feel like honoured guests. This hotel isn't just a place to sleep—it's an experience. It's a hotel that truly understands hospitality. If you're looking for a great hotel in London, this is it, and I will return soon.

I had an incredible experience at the Science Afternoon Tea. We were a private party of 12 and were very well accommodated by the staff. Some of the party arrived late we informed the staff and they very kindly agreed to delay the food until the rest arrived. They had really nice vegetarian friendly options, the scones were so delicious, the cakes were very tasty. The food was nicely decorated to match the whole science theme. Would definitely recommend coming here for a nice afternoon with the family.

Definitely a nicer hotel than usual for us, but still very reasonable, especially for London. Great, friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful room, with lots of nice touches, even a rubber ducky for the bathtub. Perfect location right by the South Kensington tube stop. Great neighborhood with lots of bakeries (Gail's!!!) and eateries.

Great hotel with well appointed rooms. Very comfortable, with everything you would expect from an upscale hotel. Restaurant and bar on the lower level, with an excellent breakfast. Very close to the S Ken give stop. Walking distance to a number of restaurants, Victoria and Albert Museum and Harrods. There was no doormen, which was odd. I will certainly stay here again next time I am in town.

The Ampersand Hotel is the perfect place for a family reunion with a large family still we were all very comfortable. The rooms are very well appointed and the food at the Apero restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would like to thank everyone and most especially Ian Verona who was able to provide the extra room we needed at the last moment. I thoroughly recommend the Ampersand Hotel. This is the fifth time we’ve stayed here and we’ve never been disappointed. I hope the sixth one comes up soon!

Incredible science afternoon tea! Interactive and fun. The sandwiches were delicious, the scones were amazing and the cakes heavenly! Free refills on sandwiches and scones -What more could you want. Service was brilliant too, some of our party were running late but they did not rush us. We had several dietary requests and fussy eaters and they catered to all perfectly. They were so friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was wonderful too. Definitely a must for any afternoon tea lover, completely worth the price
