The location is great, but the hotel is very basic. There was no hot water in one of the 2 rooms. The rooms were not cleaned while we were staying at the hotel. The breakfast is quite ordinary, but expensive. There are many good cafes nearby, so it is not worth having breakfast at the hotel. The price of the hotel does not correspond to the service provided.

Location is great, near Trafalgar Sq. Walking distance to the embankment across the bridge. And quieter area compare to others. I really appreciated walking around the area. Service at front desk was excellent. Kind and very attentive. And check in and out was very smooth. However there was no room service, stayed for 5 days not once my room was cleaned or thrash removed. Yes I get that its an apartment hotel but I was told every other day or two cleaners will come. Not once. Didn’t mind the no towel change but the trash for 5 days can get messy. I kept my room clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. Which is appreciated. However my washroom smelled of old urine. I had to leave the door always open because of this. Otherwise the tub was deep and the water flow is excellent. Theres no washroom plug so I dried my hair by the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. They provided shampoo and body wash which is great. Sadly I would not come back. It didn’t meet the standard I know London serves. And every year we come back in December because how great London during this time.

We stay in London quite often, and this time we decided to spend a bit more than usual. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth it. For a lower price you can get the same standard elsewhere – sometimes even with breakfast included. I honestly don’t understand how this place is rated four stars. We didn’t take the breakfast because it cost £15 per person, and based on what we saw, it didn’t look appealing anyway. The location is good, but there are plenty of better options in the area for less money, so it’s worth looking around before booking.

Advertised as a 4-star hotel, which it is not as there is no room service, no daily cleaning, and very limited facilities. The room was outdated and in need of renovation, and the AC was extremely noisy—I had to switch it off to sleep. The bathroom was impractical with a very high bathtub. Breakfast was basic with limited options. Overall, when you pay a 4-star rate, you expect 4-star rooms and facilities, and this did not meet that standard. Great location and generally friendly staff, but better options are available nearby for the same price.

I would have rated this hotel at 3.5 stars if it allowed. The studio room was an ok size and generally clean. Few rogue hairs in the bath tub. The kitchenette was clean and had a few bits of croquery. This did not feel like a 4 Star Hotel. More an apartment. The beds were comfortable. The big let down for us was the noise. The walls were too thin, we could hear the families all around us in the early hours. The windows were also very thin and didn't close properly. So we heard the very early hours work on the London Streets. The AC wasn't great, it didn't cool the room and was noisy. The location is however good to access the West End.

Great hotel overall, good location and good rooms. We didn't use any room service so I can't value it. Air conditioner is not regulable so I cannot choose air power and it's very noisy, but not as noisy as the fridge, which makes very loud random weird sounds, not letting me sleep well. Small old TV with not much technology, just including some basic channels and nothing else. Bathtub has a curtain, which is pretty old and weird to see as it's not very sanity-friendly, but it's cheaper, of course.

BURGLARY! My family stayed at this hotel between December 27th 2022 and January 3rd 2023. We had a total of 7 rooms. On December 31st my aunt noticed that her handbag had been tampered with. A whopping $1000 USD and a Gold chain set was stolen. At this hotel, you pay for housekeeping on request. My aunt chose to not have this service, yet someone entered her room and stole! It was only after we all left the hotel and arrived at our home destinations, family members noticed smaller items were also stolen from their bags such as a Bose Headphones and more jewelery. Though these items seem small in comparison to the US dollars and Gold jewelry, this was still a breach of privacy. This staff member entered all our rooms without permission and rummaged through our personal belongings. For the price point of this hotel, this is absolutely unacceptable. Be aware!

Excellent location! Any nothing else excellent apart from that. For a hotel that claims to be 4 stars, and chargers like a 4 star, its not very well maintained, e.g heating in room does not function very well, bathrooms are not very clean. Customer service is missing…except for one guy on the reception who was excellent, all other staff made you feel as if they are doing a great favour by allowing you to stay in their hotel.

The hotel has a beautiful presence from the exterior. Lobby is nice, well appointed and the staff is wonderful. Great coffee machine for morning pick me up. And the location cannot be beat. However, this is where the positives end. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it left a lot to be desired. The tiny living room is on the first floor and the bedrooms are above vía a very narrow and winding set of stairs. So narrow in fact, that you cannot take your luggage up the stairs. And if you have bad knees or mobility challenged it will be a very difficult situation that was not mentioned in the room description. Further, The layout is terribly awkward and there are doors everywhere. You have to go through a door to get upstairs. Then a door to access the hallway. Then another door to get to each living quarter. Worse, the toilet is downstairs and the shower is upstairs. Both are very tight and narrow. Barely enough room for a person. The shower was full of mildew and the fixtures have seen much better days. Not sure what the other rooms in the hotel are like, but the two bedroom apartment left much to be desired. And for the price - which was quite a bit, we could have gotten two hotel rooms at either the Corinthia or Royal Horseguards which are both a block away. We’ve stayed at both of those properties and there is just no comparison. We thought we would try the apartment at Citadines this trip but overall it was a disappointing stay. We decided to check out and move elsewhere. We shall not be returning here. It makes me sad to leave this kind of review because this property is beautiful and historic. It has so much potential but sadly it fell well short of expectations.

What a pleasant surprise! After reading all the negative reviews I was wondering if we had made a huge mistake by booking to stay here whilst in London for a short break. I needn't have worried! Our room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and in a perfect location for all the city sights. Front of house were pleasant and courteous.... service with a smile. Will definitely stay here again.
