Would love to give this place 5 stars but currently sat in our room wearing multiple layers. The heating doesn’t work in our room. Mentioned it to reception twice now and eventually was given then tiniest plug in radiator which does pretty much nothing. We even had to buy hand warmers today to try and keep warm in our room. Home tomorrow to get warm! It’s a shame as was really hoping to come back but having second thoughts now.

the hotel is located in the center of london minutes of walk from covent garden major theaters the soho and oxford street. Holborn underground station which serves the picadilly and central lines is just around the corner one minute of walk. Cross the road there are bus stations that serves more than 10 bus lines which makes public transportation very accessible and easy to use. The picadilly underground line will eaven take you to Heathrow airport. The breakfast is very goos. You have all you need: eggs, vegetables, chees, fruits ham and sausages. the room we had was very large and comfortable and included a fully equiped kitchen including a large fridge. They do everything they can so you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. even laundry fasilities for good price are available. and finally the price: the price for all of mentioned above will be double in any other hotel in the region. In summary we had a great time in this hotel and we are defenetly going to come back in our next vacation in London.

The walls are very thin and the noise level is high. Service was mediocre, inattentive, and disorganized. I was told my room would be ready in 10 more minutes after already waiting over 4 hours, only to be left abandoned in the lobby for another hour because the front desk staff forgot about me. To make matters worse, once my room was finally ready, the staff switched shifts and the new attendant had no idea where my luggage was. There was clearly no communication between team members to ensure a smooth handover for guests. They even asked me and another couple where our bags were stored despite being the ones who had taken them from us. Why wouldn’t the previous shift inform the next that my luggage was kept in a separate storage area? Thankfully, I had seen where they placed it and had to retrieve it myself, as the staff seemed completely clueless. The only compensation offered was a free breakfast, which only costs £15 anyway. Despite claims of recent renovations, the amenities felt dated. My bedding was clearly old and worn out, and the room temperature was impossible to regulate. Either sweltering or freezing. No robes provided, just basic paper slippers. Cheap shedding towels. Housekeeping is not thorough and bathroom didn’t really feel clean. Stingy with toilet paper and tissues, which were also cheap and scratchy. The only good thing about this hotel is its location as it’s very central and convenient for getting around. Overall, a very disappointing experience and would not return. Editing this review to note that my room was entered twice (while I was inside) on days when it was not scheduled for cleaning. Management handled the situation very poorly. The issue was repeatedly dismissed as a simple “mistake” or “human error.” During our conversation, the manager tone-policed and gaslit me, implying that I was overreacting to what is clearly a serious safety concern. He continued to reprimand me for my behavior and insisted that I “show respect,” which was inappropriate given the circumstances. He even told me that I was “making him feel unsafe” and that he wanted to end the conversation, yet he proceeded to lecture me in a way that came across as deeply unprofessional and micro-aggressive. I told him that if I was making him so unsafe that he should leave, yet he stayed and kept talking / making excuses which made no sense. Clearly just wanted to victimize himself in the situation. At one point, he even brought up that he “has a great rapport with people of color.” After everything, he ended by saying it “won’t happen again”—the same thing he said the first time it happened.

Our stay at Citadines Apartments had a few bumps at the start. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, the AC wasn’t working, and there was a noticeable smell of food. The first reception staff member we spoke to (an Indian gentleman) was not very helpful, which was frustrating. That said, later on, a British staff member at reception was attentive and accommodating, which we appreciated. The highlight of our stay was Bobby from Maintenance. His positive, friendly, and fun attitude completely turned things around. He communicated our concerns to reception, helped us move our bags to a new room on the fourth floor, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including an extra fan. The apartment itself was relatively clean, and the lobby was a nice space to relax. Thanks to Bobby’s dedication and cheerful attitude, we ended up enjoying our stay despite the initial issues. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you have the chance to be assisted by Bobby — he truly made the experience smooth and enjoyable

I absolutely loved this hotel! We booked the slightly larger room with a kitchen and washer — it was spacious enough for two people, spotless, and beautifully designed. There were plenty of power outlets, cozy ambient lighting, a smart TV, and complete amenities. We even stored our luggage here for a few days before our stay while we went to Edinburgh, and they kindly let us do it free of charge — a huge plus since not every hotel allows that. The location is super central, just a short walk to Holborn Station, with a Waitrose right across the street and tons of restaurants nearby.

Good Apartment Hotel for stay during visit in Holborn. They also have option for Breakfast however as this place is surrounded by several food joints, I didn’t opt for it. Rooms are neat & clean. Laundry facility is also available for those who want to use. Kitchen have good amount of utensils, which can be used if one decide to prepare own food.

I stayed in room 513 on an overnight work trip and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the stay. The apartment room felt clean, tidy, well equipped and spacious and the bed was perfect… not too soft or too hard. I got a very good nights sleep and woke up feeling refreshed as the room not only had a comfy bed but the temperature was perfect too and it was nice and quite was no noise from other guests to be heard and I also felt safe as the team down on the ground floor were welcoming, friendly and helpful and clearly vigilant of who was coming into the hotel. You also cannot gain access to the lift or stairs up to the rooms unless you have a room key.

Not a bad place but rooms are overdue for a refresh. Furniture have signs of age as shown in the picture. Kitchenette is great to have, no doubt. Staff not overly friendly. Location is very good. Breakfast not the greatest and there are much better choices in the vicinity. Overall, I would not stay there again

Excellent location in central London. A few steps to Holborn tube station make it easy to get around anywhere. Lots of bus stops too, very convenient location to get around the whole city. The room was nice, but the interior was outdated, and some things (such as the shower head) did not work. I would stay again simply for the location.

I stayed here for a month from Sept to Oct, 2022. It's a highly over priced place. Initially, they said breakfast was not included although I had booked it. Then after around 5 days, they said it's there. The elderly lady at breakfast would rush with the register to make the breakfast entry, and you would have to write yourself when you have plate in your hand and trying to take something, she would insist that you 1st write by physically interrupting you, not even allow you to sit. The fridge didn't work at all. I lost a lot of food. Once I had gone to ask what to do about garbage and the black guy at the reception curtly said do it yourself, we don't do that. After that, I was hesitant to ask anything at the reception. I couldn't wait to leave the place but was still looking for a house. After some days, they suddenly blocked my card. One day as I was entering the place, my card didn't work. I asked at the reception what happened and they very rudely said your breakfast has not been paid. If I didn't pay, I won't be allowed in. I requested that I talk to my booking agency and they replied, pay by tomorrow else we will block. The payment was made promptly. Mind you, the very hefty room fee was already paid. They raised a proforma invoice and charged for all days, even when I didn't eat and future dates. I went to the reception multiple times to ensure they don't again block my access as their treatment gave me a lot of anxiety. I still tolerated the place but the worst was the rude staff, except a specs wearing girl (South Asian / Indian looking) who was always nice. They sent me a small card and some toffee after the blocked card incident. I actually did't want to write the review. But sometime back, I went to ask if they had found a charger I might have left behind, my bad luck the most rude staff was there and as expected he said no, without checking. This was 2nd Nov around 8:45 pm. Overall terrible experience.
