   Had a problem with the IR sensor on a Sony television failing. Rang Glenfield Electronics and they said to drop it in to them to have a look. Phoned us within hours to confirm it was the IR sensor that needed replacing. Repair completed within 24 hours and the final bill very reasonable. We thoroughly recommend this company for their efficiency, friendly and helpful attitude and reasonable cost.

   I have a 55" Samsung Smart TV which kept turning off and no picture. Screen goes all black after seconds! Called Vince and explained the issue. He said to bring it in. I took the TV the same day at about 1 pm. Vince said he will check it and advise. It could take about a week to fix. He called me at 4.30pm to say that the TV was fixable and gave me a price. He said I could collect my TV by 5.15pm !! Wow ! I got my TV fixed within a few hours on the same day ! The repair charges were very reasonable and job well done. Vince is a diamond! A great fellow and knows his profession very well. Thank you Vince for a great old school service. Much obliged !

   My TV stopped working, the screen was blank and instead of buying a new TV I thought I would search online to see if I could get it fixed. I came across glenfield electronics and decided to call them to enquire after reading the reviews. I spoke to Vince who was very friendly and advised me of the process of taking my TV in to be checked and what to expect. I took my TV in later that day and left it with vince so that it could be checked to find the fault and see if it could be fixed. Vince called me regularly with updates without me having to call and ask for an update, he was able to fix my TV and I collected it earlier today. I can't recommend them enough, if I have any issues with my TV in the future I will use them again without a doubt. Wonderful service, trustworthy and lovely people. I am happy :)

   Took a Samsung 55" curved TV in that was nearly 6 years old... Picture was glitching after it warmed up.They fixed the issue which involved a circuit board replacement....All done at a very fair price.... Would definitely utilize their services again if needed.

   Had a tv repaired by guys who know tvs and know what they're doing eg cannibalising power supply boards to get parts for your repair. Also £20 fee to review what fault is and quote is precisely what's needed to determine if your set is worth repairing.

   Very good service and willingness to help out on what would end up being a very small transaction for them, but a potentially huge saving for me, would highly recommend contacting them for any size of job big (or in my case) small. Details: Had a very old but up ‘til now very reliable 37” Panasonic LCD TV that suddenly went blank screen - although everything else still worked (sound, channel changes etc). After some Googling/YouTube videos realised it was probably a blown fuse on the ‘TCON’ board (apparently a common error on these sets), which seemed to be confirmed when I got the board out and checked it out with a multimeter continuity test. After being mucked around for about 3 weeks by a main Panasonic dealership, took it to these guys who managed to find a suitable replacement fuse and fix it the same day - yeah a perfectly working ‘telly again. Saved me from having to buy a new TV and chucking what otherwise was a perfectly good one into landfill. Thanks again guys
