I’ve been going to this place for many years now and it’s mainly for teachers gift as the jewellery is very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and they explain what it is before you buy. It’s a pity that you have to purchase the gift box and bag separately now. Overall very good experience.
Popped in today in view to buy quite a few gifts for a wedding. Closing time states 5:30pm, we arrived at 5:19 and began looking outside. A staff member in a suit approached me, no hello how are you?… rudely said ‘we are finishing up with one gentleman and closing’ I said ‘ but closing time says 5:30pm? there is still 11 mins to go’ She said ‘yeah well we close our tills at 5:25pm and we are finishing with this one gentleman and closing!’ I said so basically you don’t even want people to look around at items on display? She said ‘go to highcross it is open till 6:30pm’ So rude. Wish I took her name to put it on here but people should be allowed to browse and purchase until the PROPER closing time. Odd.
I've not been here for a few years but still found the prices very reasonable, the shop was quiet, I spent a long time looking to get the perfect gift. The lady then asked if we needed any help and gave us some advice on what would be best for what we wanted. I was very pleased with the purchases we made and my mum was over the moon with her gift.
Walked into Warren James today and was told "if your not buying anything then get out". If their staff haven't watched Pretty Woman I advise them to do so. Lost out on sales. In the current circumstances they should not be talking to potential customers like that, extremely disappointed, even shops are closing down.

A bit high price on silver even know i go and get few bits and some of the offers not in store
As far as budget Jewelers go, this is one of the better stores, with friendly & helpful staff on hand to help you. Their selection isn't as varied as the large displays would have you believe upon first glance, but for the low costs you actually pay for the Jewelry compared to their more expensive counterparts you can hardly complain.
Warren James in the HAY MARKET Leicester is great, they are VERY helpful and nothing is too much trouble. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING TO WARREN JAMES IN THE HIGHCROSS, THEY ARE UNHELPFUL AND NOT AS GOOD
