Duncan said he would make my stone into a signet ring for six hundred pounds. I don’t call it a signet ring that he made. He assured me that he hadn't used glue, I may be wrong but it looks like he has and he said he had given me a hall mark; the hall mark shows a ring made in Birmingham with the makers mark and date worn away. The gold is not polished. I am also a bit disappointed with the gaps between where the ring joins the gold band around the stone. When I collected the ring the price had gone up to eight hundred pounds
