We always enjoy taking our little dog Snowy here for a walk along the brook and through the park. It's a lovely oasis of tranquility just off the Blaby road coming into Whetstone. Always clean and well maintained, it has a spacious car park and play equipment the other side. There are several benches to sit, and spits to fish or paddle if so inclined. During winter the parkland often floods becoming a haven for migratory birds wintering for the season.

We love jubilee park, nice medium sized park, average dog walk 30mins, flat terrain. Small kids play equipment. Nice littler stream throughout. Kids love taking a little fishing net to catch crayfish. See some people with their kayaks down there. Only issues is this is the local dog park which we love but could be an issue for some people if your not a dog person. Shame it floods in winter as you canβt walk the park when itβs badly flooded.

Nice Open Place but there's no benches or cut out path ways so you don't really know where your going, but it's nice none the less.

Lovely area to walk the dogs. Plenty of open spaces mixed with bushed areas to keep them entertained. Access to river if they want a little swim or paddle. Does retain surface water for quite some time after flooding though, so wear appropriate footwear.

Absolutely loved it! More like a heath than a park, with a lot of vast green spaces and a beautiful lake in the middle.

Pretty basic playground, they have 2 normal swings, 2 toddler swings, a baby slide and bigger kids wooden climbing frame with slide. The floor is soft rubber. Was clean and tidy. Only 1 bench for adults though. It's alright, nothing bad, just basic.

Quite nice, calm place to be at, really open and one of the parks that has alot of walkways. Quite small but awesome to take your dog for a walk or even a small visit with the family. Does have amazing scenery of the trees too for any enthusiasts.

What a fantastic park. Plenty of space to walk the dogs and an added bonus to have the river run aside it. The park always seems well tended to with the grass cut at regular intervals and most dog walkers seem to clear up after their dogs. The park does flood in times of heavy rain but nothing that a good pair of wellies won't tackle. Needless to say the dogs love it. There is a good sized car park to which I have never had issues parking in.
