   Penarth leisure centre is absolutely fab! Me and my mum go to swim lanes, the facilities are good and their booking is quite easy. The centre also offers bring a friend friday so I go free with my mum. There is usually enough room to swim laps at your own pace. There is a good sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool.

   Staff have always been friendly, polite, and willing to help. The gym equipment is a bit outdated, but well enough to use. Good luck using any of it though between the hours 12-2pm or 3pm-7pm! Swimming lanes generally book up fast and often feel overcrowded (built up and not enough space to swim).

   Excellent front of house staff, very helpful. Will call someone to help you if needed. The personal trainers and leisure staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. The equipment is very good and with up to date and brand new spinning bikes in their own dedicated studio. The pool is a lovely experience as it’s kept at an ambient temp, nice to get into and not to warm. Unfortunately the health suit has been on and off lately. Is closed atm due to vandalism and other issues. Cleaning might be an issue to some, as this is a well used building, with all ages in groups and clubs, not always being at their best. Plenty of in-house classes for everyone and all abilities. All in all great value for money and welcoming place to spend your time for more than a couple of days a week.

   If you read most of these reviews and then land in the middle then you have a fair reflection of the facility. Staff isn't really friendly, but they aren't really rude. The equipment is mostly older (just got all new spin bikes), but it all works properly and if it doesn't they repair it. It's fairly clean, not spic and span, but not as bad as some make it out. They offer a wide range of classes and options for activities for all ages. £41 a month is really not too bad for as many options as they have or we have in the area. All in all I feel like I get my money's worth here.

   Showers are like warm and they smell. Plenty of grime on the tiles and floor whitch is rank. Also get strikes for no reason and fed up of telling staff to clear them. Quick enough taking money from your account but half the experience is unpleasant. If it carrys on I will be revoking my membership. One other thing to mention there's underage kids using facility's like the healthsuite. You mention to staff and they wave it off. Wonder what trading standards will think of this

   Pool water is actually warm which is nice. The health sweat is nice could do with a little update but nice enough. Only down side make sure you have money for lockers and the front desk is cashless. Staff are friendly as well

   I've been treated appalingly by this leisure center. My direct debit failed last year. There was a debt. I wanted to pay the 28 pound debt and re join. I was told that the debt would be written off seen as though I was re joining. There was a problem with the tablet and it wouldn't allow the debt to be written off or let me pay it either. So the staff member asked if I have another email address. I used that one to re join. Months go by and I pay for some pt sessions. I became unwell. And my direct debit failed. I asked if I could use the payment for the pt sessions to be used for the unpaid direct debit. But 2 weeks later, I had a £40 admin charge applied. I paid the admin charge, I also paid the failed direct debit. Now though, I can't have either a refund or use my pt sessions that I paid for because there is outstanding debt on another account. They are basically calling me a liar, saying that the staff member wouldn't offer this. Ok. So now I ask, can I have the refund minus the 28 pounds? Now it's a no, because you've asked for it to be used to clear the debt. But you didn't do that did you, leisure center??? Because if you had, I wouldn't have had an admin charge would I???? They refuse to speak to me on the phone, despite me repeatedly asking for a call back, refuse to escalate to a manager. I would just like to talk to someone and get my money back, emailing back and forth doesn't work!!! They are a waste of time and effort. The service is disgusting and they must do better!!!

   Local leisure facility with ample parking. Changing rooms have recently been refurbished. Nice health suite.
