I love the Dogwood in Windsor. I was in many others dog's grooming places before but there is no better place like this one. Last time l visited, Rose was so nice and professional. My dog is a very hairy Schnauzer and needed a lot of work, she was very patient with him and did an excellent job. She was great with my dog. Highly recommended!!!

First time experience in using Dogwood , Windsor and was very impressed with the staff and guidance/advice given and the end result is fantastic. One very smart white schnauzer. Already booked in for his next appointment. Thank you Katie and Mia.

It took me some time to decide to write this, but I believe it’s crucial for customers and potential customers to know what can happen at this place. To this day, my dog can’t visit any grooming place due to this experience, so please read carefully. We adopted our Border Collie mix at 4 months old and wanted her to be socialized and desensitized to most things as soon as possible. So, we didn’t hesitate to take her for her first grooming when she was ready. We booked the “Puppy Pamper Package,” and she loved it! It was only natural for us to book her as often as necessary, treating it like a “spa day” for her. We would go for Christmas, her birthday, and before the hot temperatures. She didn’t need much work; it was usually shampoo, nails, and a trim, but I always booked the “Dapper Dog Package.” Every time we went, she would run to the back of the store straight to the glass door, greeted by one of the nice ladies there, not even paying attention to all the treats and toys in the Petscorner shop. She always had a fantastic time. However, after two bookings, they never had the same price for her. She is quite small, so she would be considered a Spaniel in the price list. Every time I paid something different, but I thought it was worth it, so I didn’t focus on the price. Just for information, it went from around 50 pounds to almost 70 the last time we went. So, a massive increase, and I don’t think inflation is to blame here. But here is where I draw the line. The last time I booked an appointment with them, everything that could have gone wrong did. We presented Raffey 5 minutes early, I reminded them that she would prefer a towel over the blow dryer unless it’s a quieter one. They’ve always known this information, and I believe it’s in their systems as well, but I always mention it just in case. A lady I’ve never seen before barely greeted us or acknowledged Raffey. She opened the little gate for my dog to go on the other side and then told me, “We’ll call you when she’s done.” I went back home and waited. From my experience, she needs around 35-45 minutes. After an hour, I started to worry and looked at my phone several times, nothing. I called them and didn’t get an answer, so I decided to go back after 1h15. When I got there, my dog was in a cage under their register (never once someone had put my dog in these, she was by herself, always very calm, and as far as I remember, was given a treat to patiently wait for me to pick her up, next to the person just laying on the floor). The lady I saw earlier had left and this new person kept calling her ‘him’ when referring to my dog, “He doesn’t really like us much, does he?” What a weird thing to say to the owner picking up their dog from grooming, but I smiled and asked, “Oh no, why, what do you mean?” “He had a bit of a situation with the hair blower.” I am honestly wondering if she did indeed groom her, not knowing the difference between a male dog and a female dog when you handle them for more than an hour is suspicious. After correcting her 3 times, she explained to me that “He got scared and wanted out, so we had to put a muzzle on him", and apparently my dog tried to remove the muzzle and caught her nail that broke. Well, that’s just great. So now my dog is between my legs, shaking like I’ve never seen her shake before, with a nail at a 90-degree angle and blood dripping. But it’s her fault, my dog. The one that never had one single incident in all those years of coming to this place. I paid the hefty 63 or something pounds and left. My dog didn’t look any different, she was hurt and traumatized. You can see for yourself; I posted the pictures. After nearly a year now, the nail hasn’t grown back and I do everything myself as she won’t go near a salon anymore. I am disgusted honestly, this is a terrible way to treat a pet, and a customer. I don’t think I need to say I won’t be going back, but I urge you to reconsider if you want to use their services.

Highly recommend. First time using Dogwood for our cockapoo. We were very pleased and Nero seemed to enjoy the experience. As he was very calm when we picked him up.

We've been coming to Dogwood since Biscuit was a puppy, and everyone's been so so lovely, especially Isabel. Biscuit absolutely loves getting a groom as well, so really can't ask for more.

The girls at the Windsor store love Mabel and are always so kind and gentle to her! She's always happy to seem them, even though she hates baths! They were so helpful in explaining her cut and made sure I was happy with everything before they went ahead. I completely trust their judgement and can't wait to see what Mabel looks like!

The groomers are really friendly and the environment is clean. There is also a convienent free car park for shop users. I had looked at the reviews and decided to put my new puppy's first trim in their hands. I dropped my puppy at the reception of Dogwood which is in Pets Corner and browse the store while I waited for 1 hour. When it was time to collect my puppy, I could not believe this was my trotting around as he now looked like 'My great Aunt Tess' I was speechless and went to pay the bill of £28 and just wanted to get home. Please see the before and after pictures to see what I mean.
