Very enjoyable visit and quiet when I visited. Had a party of children with parents at the centre of the woods drawing etc. Carpark had barrier down so couldn't enter to park so as I drove in and parked on the left.
Small,but a really lovely place.Great for a weekend walk and spend time with nature.
I did not know that this park was here, and I was definitely missing out. This place is very beautiful and cosy. There is a wide range of plants here. As a gardening and tree enthusiast, I would recommend it.
Absolutely beautiful. A little gem on my doorstep. My son and i spent a coupe of hours here for the 1st time and he didnt want to leave. Brilliant for little explorers
A wildlife haven in five acres of managed woodland. Accessible paths. Gate open off Carisbrooke Road with small carpark. Toilets.

A lovely quiet patch of south Leicester with plenty of interesting and we'll labelled tree species. Lots of wildlife. Paths a little slippy underfoot, so recommend sturdy footwear.
My lady and I both like trees so this is the place! The trees are laid out in the order that they arrived in the British isles after the great ice sheets melted. The amble round took about 90 minutes. There is a toilet and parking on site but you'll have to take your own munchies. Great stuff
