Draycote Water is a fantastic place for a family walk. The path around the reservoir is well maintained and offers beautiful views all the way round – perfect for a relaxing day outdoors with children. Parking is very easy here, with plenty of spaces available, so there’s no stress about finding a spot even on busier days. After a walk around the lake, it’s great to treat the kids to ice cream on site – a perfect way to finish the visit. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature, spend time with the family and get some fresh air without having to travel far. Highly recommended for a weekend outing.

Lovely place for a run or walk around. The nature it’s amazing. Lots of ducks grosses and swans. The administration of the park should think about to put some bio toilets maybe at the middle of the way offering the possibility to go and have a wee normally if you’re in the other side of the lake, not to go in the bushes. The cafe upstairs it’s not bad Some homemade cakes and some other stuff to eat like eggs beans and toasts. Prices are a bit over Let’s be real A tenner (10Β£) for a kid breakfast it’s a bit too much, considering there it’s just a toast some beans and an egg.

Nice place to chill and trail for 2 hours even cycling. Ideal chill pill for stress relief. Can do mini picnics as well. Enjoy the kayaking and boating scenery with a cup of coffee. Payment at car park is reasonable.

NOT dog friendly, but will accommodate runners, cyclists, and children. We presume that the runners and cyclists are speed restricted and all children are kept on leads. The only positive is that it saved us spending money on parking.

**Review for Draycote Water in Rugby:** Draycote Water is a fantastic spot in Rugby for a peaceful day out in nature. The large, tranquil lake is perfect for a leisurely walk, with a well-maintained pathway that makes it easy to navigate. It's a great place to bring the family, with plenty of green spaces where you can set up a picnic and enjoy the serene environment. One of the best things about Draycote Water is that entry is completely free, making it an affordable option for a day out. The parking fees are reasonable too, with Β£3 for two hours or Β£5 for the entire day, so you can stay as long as you like without breaking the bank. Plus, there's a spacious car park, so finding a spot is never an issue. The amenities are excellent, with clean and well-maintained toilets at the entrance, and a restaurant where you can grab a meal or a snack. The ice creams here are especially goodβ€”definitely a must-try! There's also a play area for kids, which adds to the family-friendly appeal. Do note that the closing time has recently changed to 6:30 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. Whether you're looking to relax, take a peaceful walk, or spend quality time with your family, Draycote Water is the perfect destination. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil escape with great facilities and beautiful surroundings.

Mixed views about this place. On the right day it is lovely rain or shine, but sometimes eager cyclists, runners etc spoil a quiet leisurely walk to watch sailors, birds etc. The cafe is lovely and parking a plenty.

Good walk but BEWARE you cannot complete the circle route around the reservoir. You only find this out on the final straight when there's a massive fence blocking your way. Many people were being caught out.

Lovely place for a day out, loads of parking available - Β£3 for 2 hours or Β£5 all day. It took us 1h45m to walk around the lake which was well maintained. There are free toilets there too which are also well maintained

Draycote Water can be a great choice for nature lovers. You can take a wonderful walk around the lake. There is a nice playground for children, your children can have a good time while you sit in the picnic area. There is no entrance fee, you just have to pay the parking fee. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant day.

Good path. About 4 miles long and fairly flat. Nice restaurant. Beware the cyclists who can go rather fast.
