   Nice short walk around the lake, fast gravel path suitable for prams and wheelchairs, plenty of ducks. Car park a bit small but plenty of space on the road

   Mainly fishing lake, but good site for bird-watching as well, specially due to the reeds surrounding the lake, home to Water Rail, Cetti's Warbler in the winter, and Reed Warbler and Sedge Warbler in the summer (Cetti's as well). Gadwall, N Shoveler, Pochard and Tufted Ducks roam around in the winter. Recently, from April 2025 (now May 2025), an Egyptian Goose can be found as well. The surrounding park is home to small perching birds such as variety of finches, whitethroats, blackcaps, etc.

   Lovely place to get your nature-fix in the middle of industrial and residential areas. Perfect for dog walking. Lots of bins and clearly marked paths. Free parking.

   Beautiful little park, plenty of benches so great for a picnic. Short walk around the lake, has a fun boardwalk section. Great for walking dogs. Easy to park but car park was quite full on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

   This is a beautiful park. So tranquil. The lake is beautiful. The footpaths are mostly gravelled. And the planting is mostly wild, which adds to the charm. There are ducks, swans and coots enjoying the lake. And as well as the main footpath around the lake, there are a few offshoot paths that are worth exploring too. The car park is off Lamby Way, opposite the tip. But there is also another entrance you can access by foot, which is off New Road in Rumney. If you like a peaceful stroll around a lake, Parc Tredelerch is definitely worth exploring.

   It used to be so lovely walking the dogs around here but recently its awful, so much dogs mess and thousands of little flies. Sadly It's really gone downhill these past few months. The boardwalk could do with renewing some planks feel a bit loose and damaged. It's a great spot for watching the wildlife and sunset. Needs to looked after better.

   This is Hendre Lake. Lovely walk around a lake, full with bird life; swans, water hens, coots, grebes. Don't go in the weekends because the car park has not THAT many spaces; about 20, I think. Can be a bit muddy in places.
