I couldn’t recommend Top to Tail highly enough. Kerrianne is simply the best. I’m a very neurotic Mummy and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have two fur babies, both with very different personalities. One a rescue who still gets spooked very easily. Nothing is ever rushed, they get time out during their grooms, treats and cuddles and always come out looking incredible and exactly as I asked. Worth every penny and a waggy tail says it all when it’s time to go back.

Initially it was good I took my first labradoodle to puppy university and since then I booked her for regular grooming. At times though would comment in a complaining kind of way about having to “spend more time “ on my dog as kept finding knots on her! The solution for them most of the time is to shave them. However I didn’t know any better and I kept taking her there. I got a second dog after 2 years and she went through the same puppy university. The same owner lady, always grumpy and telling me I needed to spend more time brushing my dogs. Her face and body language completely unacceptable. I had been taking my dogs there for over 2 years, every 4-6 weeks following their advice to make the grooming easier. Many times found nails not clipped or ears not quite clean, bum not shaved enough. I stopped taking my dogs out in the woods to go wild and play like dogs because i didn’t want to freaked out and hear the owners complaining. Until one day it happened again and this time she looked so annoyed that I thought to myself, i pay you £97 for each of my girls to have full grooms every 4-6 weeks, just like you said and you are still not happy! Still moaning about their coats, and how much extra time it takes them. Well that’s why I pay £97 pounds. Do they expect me to take my dogs 100% knot free to have an easy job.. My dogs were brushed by me, I stopped going on wood walks to avoid getting them wet to prevent any knots because of their constant remarks of them finding knots. I was stopping play for my dogs because of this!!!! I think sadly this lady is all about the money, they want to have easy ready dogs for just a bath and a comb. My dogs are now going to this lady who has her own grooming services and she charges me £15 les per dog, she takes less time that TTT took and she even tells me, oh they were good, they don’t need another until after 6 weeks.. .. and I am happy because she is clearly doing a good job and have not changed anything in my routine but she just doesn’t have anything bad to say about their coats, she does the job and never complains!
Big businesses like TTT forget what customer service is about and they just think about money and how to fit more dogs in one day.. hence they complain and end up shaving them! Sad really, this happened in Coulsdon.

These guys have done a really nice groom on my Cockerpoo. She gets matted on her belly because of her harness but they have done a really clean job. Price is slightly steep but what is current. Can't really complain when the doggo comes out looking and smelling great and like she has had a great time. Just book before you need it as they are booked up fairpy far in advance but i guess that is because they do such a good job!

Our 2 year old Havanese has been going to Top to Tail in Coulsdon since he was only a few months old. He completed their Puppy University and has been going for regular grooms ever since. The groomers are fantastic and he always comes out looking (and smelling!) amazing. The staff are very patient with him and his occasional attitude about being groomed in certain areas, and have also been really helpful at offering us advice and support with grooming him at home, particularly in the dark days of the ‘blowing coat’ phase when he was matting non-stop. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Top to Tail, have groomed my three dogs for roughly 12 years now. They have always cared greatly for my boys and in my opinion, no other groomer in Surrey compares to Top to Tail.
My youngest dog have a high maintenance coat and has never liked being groomed at home. However, he absolutely loves a full groom at Top to Tail. He always leaves smiling with a spring in step.
Over the years, my boys have had various serious health issues and the ladies at Top to Tail, have always been considerate of our wants and their needs. I am extremely protective of my boys, but can relax and be free from worry whilst they’re in the care of Top to Tail in Coulsdon.
