Beautifully presented, super tasty food!! We came here for our graduation in July and can’t stop thinking about it since!! When ever I return to Bristol I’ll definitely be booking a table here! The special service and free champagne just topped the event! Thank you browns!

My first visit at Browns and it did not disappoint. Sam was very attentive and knowledgeable; his wine recommendation was so good we got another bottle! The flavours of the bar snacks were good, light but it hit the spot. The croquettes were truly the star and I 100% recommend trying them. I will definitely be coming back but for a proper dinner. The interior of the building is so beautiful, classical, and intimate. We sat on the terrace which is wonderful, especially in this heat, with the view of the people passing by. Despite the momentary blasts of wind, it’s definitely a great place to be and we did not have to wait for a table! Very good service.

Double birthday celebration. Even with a 40 odd group booking at the same time our server was awesome. We took the time to tell her managers we were very impressed. Food was hot, delicious and perfect portion size. Important these days. Lovely chilled bottle of Verve poured for us. Gorgeous surroundings and embarrassed I’ve not been before. Will be back! Thankyou x

Lovely afternoon spend in a beautifully converted Venetian-Gothic building, as an architecture graduate I really appreciate beautiful interiors. The host greeting us and seated our group in a lovely setting which was all ready and prepared for our arrival. Our server was very attentive and constantly checking if we were happy or needed anything. The traditional fish and chips was a favourite amongst our guests! Would recommend the linguine & elderflower mocktail. We will definitely be back soon and recommend if you are visiting Bristol to stop by especially as the brunch we had previously was great - try the pancakes!

Located close to Bristol University, stylish decor in a local venue with elegant columns and arches. We ate the Sunday Roast, a typical Sunday dish, very good, recommended!! The service wasn't very good, we were 6, the 6th person was completely forgotten, bringing his order 20 Min later, then another dish that was served "pork belly" was just fat, they have been nice to replace the plate. We asked for gravy to be added and it was totally forgotten too. Then to remedy the mistakes they gave us the opportunity to have the dessert for free, but then with the bill we realized that the dessert offered was only for one person. At least they had to offer dessert to the two people who didn't get good service. Cold temperature inside. The experience could have been better.

I love this place so much! ❀️ The decor, the vibe, and of course the food and drinks are amazing. Only a touch on the pricey side and completely worth it for the quality. Highly recommend to anyone for a classy lunch or a fun get together, and the staff are so helpful and nice

A very nice restaurant up to the usual Browns standard and a superb 2 courses for Β£14.95 offer weekday afternoons and early evening. Service was friendly, informed and timing just what you want. Tried the smoked salmon and steak fries both prepared as well as anybody could hope for.

Nice place with great vibe. Cool decor and great staff who make it a pleasure to hang out there. They have a rich menu with plenty of options for everyone - we had pies that were quite good. Portions were generous, food was very rich but could be better balanced and with more sharpness. They have a good choice of cocktails too and an interesting wine selection. However the espresso martinis we had could be better. Overall a good place to visit and great to take a big group of people. Also- you definitely need a reservation cause the place gets very busy!
