Nobody on the tills to serve you, had zero help on the self checkout then a very rude female staff with black hair tutted at me and muttered something so I decided to leave my shopping and left the store will not return, basically the member of staff mentioned needs to learn good customer service skills.

I was accused of stealing because I cancelled my transaction at the self checkout, went to swap the item and then came back. The staff member was staring me down and said twice that it looked like I'd stolen things even though I showed her I was stil holding the items in my hand and I was trying to pay for them. I have never in my life stolen anything and I was offended at her comments and judgment. Why would a thief come back to the til anyway. Ridiculous.
Feels a bit brighter and tidier than a lot of Poundlands. When I visited there were 2 or 3 manned rills as well as self checkout which is better than most other branches.
I really liked this place, a lot of things were just surprising when I looked at the prices. It was either one pound or less than a pound.
Good well stocked shop, some good deals to be had here , it's a busy shop , friendly staff. Free parking a few minutes walk away. Recommended.

Medium sized store, has abit of everything from makeup, toiletries, DVDs, pet items, garden stuffs, kitchen stuffs, food, snacks, drinks, cleaning products, cards…. Staff are polite & friendly.
Good basic range of items including snacks, toiletries, household, baking, DIY, gifts and stationery. Items are cheap so not always the best quality but I've picked up a few nice items now and then. The shelves are always well stocked when I've been there. Staffing numbers at the tills not always enough. They need to serve customers and in between stop and deal with the self-scanning tills. They're running between the the two and feel sorry for them. They sell seasonal items and I pick up lots of bits and pieces for kids for Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc.
