Great place to get a tattoo, Dave (the tattoo artist) listens to what you want and takes the time to answer any questions about aftercare. Also if you need a touch-up he always explains how many hours it will take and is honest about what needs to be done. I’ve always loved the designs that I have from getting them done at Sacred Heart Tattoos.
Dave is the best tattoo artist I’ve ever come across. His work is original, incredibly detailed, and he puts a lot of care into everything he does. I’ve gotten more than four fairly large tattoos from him, and each one is absolutely amazing. His studio has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and he’s always friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t go to anyone else!
Dave has done 5+ tattoos for me and I can't recommend him enough, he is a great artist being able to do any genre or art style, a great conversationlist and general nice guy.
I cant recommend Dave at sacred heart tattoos enough. I have had the majority of my tattoos done by him spanning over 15 years getting my first one when i was 18. highly professional, highly knowledgeable and will always give you a great piece of artwork. Dave is also very understanding of peoples pain thresholds and will accommodate you if you reach that wall.
I’ve had a few tattoos from Dave now, and am absolutely delighted with how they’ve turned out. My first one with Dave was a full sleeve, Dave was really helpful in giving advice on my ideas of what would tattoo well and setting expectations, which now looking back was incredibly valuable - ie he didn’t just do whatever I wanted but steered me with their experience and skill. It was quite a complex project in the end, which is why I am very happy with it and have since been back for more. I also found Dave to be very contentious in regard to hygiene, both whilst doing the tattoo and advice on aftercare. I’ve followed their advice and every time I’ve healed both quickly and nicely! Unless what I wanted in future was incredibly simple, Dave would be my first point of call. Thanks Dave and see you again
My second tattoo completed by Dave and I love it so much. My sisters and I wanted a snowflake each but all slightly different. He took some sample sketches / ideas and created a really beautiful design. Myself and my sisters absolutely love the work he’s done and such a lovely guy to chat to. Can’t recommend Dave highly enough.
Had my first tattoo yesterday (6 hour session) and it's absolutely amazing! Dave really put me at ease and its not even as bad as a cat scratch. Can't wait to get inked again by dave soon! Incredible job on a piece of art with alot of meaning for me. Highly recommend!
Had my first tattoo with Dave yesterday. I was a little nervous and not great with needles but Dave put me a total easy. Great to chat to and a great guy who is clearly very passionate and professional in his approach. After turning up and deciding to change my design, which was totally my fault, Dave was bee accommodating made it happen and I’m delighted with the result. My tattoo has come out a lot better than I expected and I will definitely recommend him to anyone new or old to the tattoo game! Keep up the good work mate!
I have had tattoos done by other artists and I can honestly say that Dave is the best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. My daughters portrait is my favourite piece that has been done by Dave. Just fantastic detail and she is now having work done at sacred heart. Looking forward to seeing the new studio very soon. Peace and prosperity mate.
