Just went into the leamington spa branch and if I could give a specific person there zero stars I would. One of the managers there Lee seemed lazy, didn't seem to want to help anyone (including his coworkers) and uses inappropriate language on the shopfloor. There seemed to be an issue with a new member of staff needing help with something on the tills, he asked for help from this manager Lee, and was completely ignored. Another member of staff, James, jumped in when the new member of staff wasn't getting help and lended a hand (he is not a manager). I feel like these roles need to be swapped round. James looked like he was running around doing everything while Lee just stood there doing nothing. This isn't even the first time I've witnessed this. I've worked in the range before and at least the managers actually communicate!

I visited on the 13th of October with my two sons having gone to the wrong Pets at Home for a Beavers visit. The staff really made up for my mistake though, showing us many of the animals. One member of staff in particular, whose name we didn't get, was really fantastic with us - she showed us how they take care of some of the insects and fish and answered my sons' questions really patiently too. Thank you very much!

I came in at the end of the day with a new puppy and no lead. From the moment I walked in all the staff were friendly and helpful. James even kept my puppy behind the desk so I could walk around and look for a lead and bed. All the staff were great, they were insightful, had excellent recommendations and helped until I was sorted to go. Thanks again guys

My partner bought a hamster couple days a go from here we had hamsters for years the guy there was doing my partners head in sounded like a parrot we know they have to do there job explain how to look after a hamster seriously he did say my partner was not listening and could refuse sale wrong attitude to have makes the customer feel uncomfortable after buying a cage and getting it home its incomplete no water bottle so going to have to go back lol please make pets. At home more pleasurable ask the customer if they ever owned a hamster before

Long wait times and really annoyed as I bought some chews which I assumed were safe for rabbits (having being placed in that particular section), I double checked with the guy who served me and he looked over at the packet and confirmed they was ‘ok to give’. But have come home and read only suitable for mice & gerbils! So what on earth was he reading! Need retraining on advising customers the correct information!

This store has gotten much better. Everyone seems helpful, shorter ques and everything I've needed has been in stock which is good as i never remember to pre-order the dog food. I've always been able to get a parking space and always asked if I've found what i needed and if I'm ok getting everything to the car, which i don't normally need but do appreciate being asked. I also get asked for my pets vip card and if I've got any vouchers to use, which again is appreciated. I enjoy going into store again now, personally i find it better than shopping online. Speaking of which, is a nightmare. Online customer service chat is useless and you can't actually speak to anyone. I spent days waiting for my dogs food to the point they actually ran out. I was sent the wrong delivery time and missed the parcel, Online customer service weren't helpful, they told me to go and buy more but I'd just spent nearly £100 on dog food with them. They said I couldn't collect the food from store or DPD local and after hours of back and forth they eventually said they would send me a voucher within the hour (already gone 5pm) to go into store and get some food so my dogs could eat. I went to store and waited around, an hour and a half came and went with no voucher by which point it was too late for the store to call online customer service. I still haven't received the voucher the next day. Thankfully the store staff were helpful and understanding but I will not be ordering online as the headache is not worth the apparent savings.
