While eating my kebab and rice, I found two eyelashes underneath the kebab. I informed the staff member, but instead of apologising he dismissively took it to the kitchen and claimed it must have come from outside, saying this “never happens here.” I didn’t take a picture because I didn’t think the staff would respond the way they did. I did not finish the meal. At the end, I explained again that the eyelashes were under the kebab itself. He repeated that it had never happened before, then handed me £10 and told me not to come back. I took £11 (the cost of the meal). The way the situation was handled was dismissive and disrespectful. If you read through the other negative reviews, you’ll notice a pattern in who gets treated this way which makes my experience feel far from coincidental. I have also reported the incident to Plymouth Council. Apart from leaving this review, I have also made a complaint to the Plymouth council. Hopefully this should serve as a deterrent to other future prospective customers.

The food was wonderful - so many fantastic flavours. Also very well presented and great service from the people running the place. It was fairly quiet when I visited but I was told it gets busier later in the evening and also during university term time. I opted for the 3-kebab meal (£13) and a portion of hummus (£4.50). There was loads, as you can see from the photo. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.

Wish I was getting paid for this review but (fortunately for everyone reading) I'm not! :) Food was incredibly good, ordered both chicken and kofta tagines, amazing taste and both served piping hot! Everything was delicious and presentation was also top class, for every single dish served. All had its own flavour and taste, even the salad was wonderful to eat. Definitely recommend the falafel starters, tasted perfecly fresh and not too dry. The half-chicken was very tender and super easy to eat, as well as the chicken tagine. If I had to recommend only one dish, (I would suggest the entire menu) I'd choose kofta tagine and rice. Super fresh tasting ingredients and very light and easy to eat, not heavy on the stomach. Starters came out around 10-12 minutes after ordering (restaurant wasn't busy), and mains came out pretty soon after. Wonderful service and everything was fast and deliciously hot and tasty. Definitely will find any excuse to return to Plymouth to eat here again, and will be bringing more friends to try food here. Compliments to the chef!!!

I was convinced to come here by my friend and I was really glad I was. At first I thought this place just did shisha and not food but I was very wrong. Not only did they do food and drink but it was top notch. I had a guava juice, my mate had Turkish tea and we both thought it was lovely, fresh and authentic. The service and hospitality we received too was as you would expect in a middle eastern establishment and very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered the mixed kebab with rice and it also came with a lovely dressed salad. The dish only cost £10 and for this, the amount of food you got was great. It was just right. Plus it was all super freshly cooked and tasty. I can definitely see this being one of our places to come and have a bite.

Worse shisha!!!!! Cheating the customers with the wrong flavour and it doesn't taste nothing like a proper shisha. The shop manager is the worse person I ever spoke and doesn't know how to treat his customers. AVOID THIS PLACE AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Always come down to relax after work with friends or have some food after the gym. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food, for the money especially, is on another level. Superb place.

Had the mixed kebab and rice with the half chicken. Flavourful kebabs and buttery rice along with tasty chicken. Good portion sizes too. Unfortunately no biryani available on the day we went but would like to try that next time. We finished the meal with some tea and shisha which was very nice also.

First time for me, such a great experience! Staff were so friendly and helpful, plus the food was amazing! Not the best pic, the food was too good to wait for a proper pic!
